SUMMARY
A perfect paradise? Or a perfect nightmare?
On a river deep in the Mexican jungle stands the colossal villa Xanadu, a wellness center that’s home to The Mandala, an ardent spiritual group devoted to self-help guru Paul Bentzen and his enigmatic wife Kali. But when, mysteriously, Paul suddenly dies, his entire estate—including Xanadu—is left to his estranged niece Sveta, a former model living in New York City.
Shocked and confused, Sveta travels to Mexico to pay her respects. At first, Xanadu seems like a secluded paradise with its tumbling gardens, beautiful people, transcendent vibe, and mesmerizing de-facto leader Kali. But soon the mystical façade wears thin, revealing a group of brainwashed members drunk on false promises of an impossible utopia and a disturbing, dangerous belief system—and leader—guiding them.
As the sinister forces surrounding Sveta become apparent, she realizes, too late, she can’t escape. Frantic and terrified, she discovers her only hope for survival is to put her confidence in the very person she trusts the least.

Celebrating his seventh season on Discovery Channel’s hit series, “Moonshiners”, comedian Killer Beaz is touring the nation’s distilleries, breweries and wineries. With well over three decades of comedy clubs and theatres, television and radio, Killer Beaz is changing things up; reaching out into the country with a tour that is as local as it gets. There is a “local” scene in just about every city, taking over the taverns and pubs throughout the land that highlights craft-made beverages and cocktail culture in our nation’s breweries, distilleries and wineries, and many of these establishments have entertainment venues. Killer Beaz has uncorked the “Official Bootleg Tour” and its next stop is Greenville, South Carolina at Thomas Creek Brewery, Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 PM. Tickets and information for the tour are available at www.KillerBeaz.com.
Beaz is not only looking forward to performing for his fans, but also to sampling the only-of-its-kind at each stop along the way. Beaz says of the upcoming shows, “Visiting breweries, wineries and distilleries is an excellent way to explore the culture and history of our cities and towns. My years with Moonshiners TV have inspired me to experience the various flavors our great nation and abundant local products. Brewers, distillers and wine makers throughout are proving that hand-crafted is the way to go, and I think the show has been an inspiration to many startups in the industry. I’m betting this will be the most fun tour yet!”
The tour kicked off in May, and will eventually expand to the four corners of the country. Beaz will continue to make regular stops on The Grand Ole Opry stage, and will continue his role as a moonshiner. Stay tuned to his social media for an inside look at Americana’s finest…. It’s LIVE, it’s LOCAL, it’s “THE BEST BUZZ in TOWN”. See him on television, hear him on the radio, see his stage performance live…you’ll be “Stung for Life!” The show is in Greenville, South Carolina at Thomas Creek Winery, Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 PM. “Buona Notte is driven by wine, but ruled by its belly.” —winemaker Graham Markel
The first time we tasted Buona Notte Wines, we knew we’d found a kindred spirit. (We might be driven by books, but we’ve got some pretty great gastronomical rulers these days too.) Buona Notte makes natural wines from vineyards in the Columbia River Gorge, a region of tremendous diversity that straddles both Washington and Oregon, from desert to tropical rainforest, including two volcanoes. Put that kind of terroir into the hands of a winemaker with a lifelong love of Italy and Italian food, and you’ve got some real magic to contend with. Chef Teryi paired these varietals from Buona Notte with her favorite Italian-American dishes, food to truly complement the character of the wines.
Both Chef Teryi and Danny Baker from Mission Grape will be on hand to talk roots and inspiration. Wines will be available for sale by the bottle and by the case at a 15% discount. Take a look at the menu below and get your tickets today!

Formed in Columbus, OH in the Spring of 2016, the The Quasi Kings have quickly “cemented [their] place as the sprawling, multi-instrumental next generation of Columbus reggae.” (Columbus Dispatch). The band, led by brothers Zach (vocals, saxophone, percussion) & Benny Coleman (vocals, bass), varies in age, musical backgrounds, and taste, leading to a worldly & distinctive collage. Their premier offering, 2013’s Throwaway Culture EP, features catchy hooks, tight vocal harmonies, and a unique blend of reggae, rock, and hip-hop. Their latest album, Eye of the Storm, takes things a step further with songs like “Booze”, a raucous Sabbath inspired tune, and the dubby, horn driven “Cut It Out”. Their live shows are high energy, captivating and ever-evolving. The Quasi Kings have had the privilege to play with the likes of Steel Pulse, Badfish, Fortunate Youth, Passafire, The Expanders, Third World, Israel Vibration, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, The Werks, Dark Star Orchestra, Tropidelic, and more. Visit thequasikings.com for tour dates & more info.
