Bill Engvall
Oct 2 @ 8:00 pm
Thomas Wolfe Auditorium

Formerly part of the hugely successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour, multiplatinum comedian Bill Engvall delivers a good laugh, whether live on stage, on the big screen, or on paper.

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH
Oct 2 @ 8:00 pm
The Warehouse Theatre

The story of “internationally ignored song stylist” Hedwig, a fourth-wall smashing East German rock & roll goddess who also happens to be the victim of a botched sex-change operation. This outrageous and unexpectedly hilarious story is dazzlingly performed by Hedwig in the form of a concert gig/stand-up comedy routine backed by the hard-rocking band “The Angry Inch.” Hedwig describes her life’s search for “The Origin of Love” and her other half. It’s a rocking, funny, touching, and ultimately inspiring ride to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.

Caboose renovation

Our historic Southern Railway caboose, built in the Hub City of Spartanburg in 1947 needs a little maintenance.  After 71 years of various uses, the roof and windows and walls could use a facelift.

The Hub City Railroad Museum tells the uniquely important role Southern Railway and others played in Spartanburg’s history. The caboose is a vital part of our mission. Restoration of the caboose will lead to many years of happy memories and celebrating the history of railroads in the Hub City.

Your donations will be greatly appreciated and will be used in a judicious way to repair and improve the caboose. If you’d like to help financially, please mail a check to:
