Dubbed by Jerry Seinfeld as the “best young up and coming comic,” Mark Normand has quickly become one of the most talked about touring comedians on the scene.  Normand’s 2023 one-hour Netflix special, SOUP TO NUTS, was a staple in the streamers’ Top Ten for several weeks.  This follows Normand’s self-released special, 2020’s OUT TO LUNCH which amassed over 12 million views on YouTube.  He also starred on Netflix’s Season 3 of THE STAND UPS.

Normand’s popularity has also translated to tours internationally to such countries as Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Spain, Norway and Portugal.
An extremely prolific stand-up, the New Orleans born comedian previously had two Comedy Central specials and has made an unparalleled seven appearances on “Conan,” four appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” and has also appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Mark is a frequent guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” and hosts his own podcasts “Tuesdays with Stories” and “We Might Be Drunk.”

The 2025 Spring Tool Sale and Auction by Greenville Woodworkers Guild will be held on Saturday, April 19, from 8 am to 11 am at 209 Hollyridge Ct, Greenville, SC 29607.

Throughout the year the guild’s tool team gathers tools and equipment from owners to be sold in two sales events (depending on the quantity of tools collected). These events are conducted at the Guild Education Center. They include fixed priced items for instant purchase and silent auction bid items.

Generally, the consignee / donor contacts the Guild and the tool team takes care of everything else. The tool team retrieves all the owner’s items at the owner’s location, transports the items to the Guild, cleans the items, prices the inventory, conducts a sale and distributes the proceeds back to the consignees. Items remaining after the tool sale are donated to a variety of charities throughout Greenville County.

All items are barcoded and we use a Point-of-Sale system to collect payment during the sale. To make checkout as smooth and fast as possible, the Guild prefers Credit or Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.

Cash will be accepted but please, no checks.

Net proceeds support local STEM and educational scholarships for girls (5th-12th grades) and women at Brevard College and Blue Ridge Community College.

Book donations are collected in Yellow Boxes at numerous community locations from early February to late May 2025. Walk-in donations are accepted each Thursday until May 22 from 10am-2pm at The Book Book, 170 S. Broad St., Brevard, NC.

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Come early to get a seat. Doors open at 1 pm.

Every week, some 11 million families tuned in to watch I Love Lucy, the CBS sitcom starring Ball and her real-life spouse Desi Arnaz. Her wacky hijinks and fearless enthusiasm kept thousands laughing. Off-screen, she and Arnaz launched their own television studio and pioneered new technologies, building a production empire. But even as her celebrity stature soared, Ball sometimes struggled with the divergence between the onscreen Lucy Ricardo and the real-life woman offscreen. In this historical portrayal, historian and actress Leslie Goddard brings Lucille Ball to life, paying tribute to both the true comic legend and the real woman behind the myth.
