Tech After Five connects the tech community. We invite IT Professionals, Startups, Entrepreneurs and their community of support to come together and make meaningful professional connections.
You may be looking for work or looking to hire. You might be looking for customers or prospects. You may need co-founders, partners or mentors. We’ve got you covered.
Tech After Five is not like other networking events. We work particularly hard to make sure we get the right people in the room and then make sure it’s easy for you to find each other. Sign up using the right ticket type for you. We will then follow up with custom emails that let you know who you can expect to meet. We will print custom badges for the event that make it easy for you to find the people you are looking for.
We know that networking can be hard. We try to make it as easy as possible for you to meet the right people. We know that when smart people come together we can make things happen. We hope you will join us and become part of our community.
To honor and celebrate the rich history of environmental stewardship at Chimney
Rock State Park, join us for an after hours sunset hike to the top of the Chimney

Hickory Nut Gorge State Trail marker on this newly designated trail.
Note: This trail is considered difficult.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
Join us in a toast at Chimney Rock Brewing Company to commemorate the newly designated Hickory Nut Gorge State Trail and honor our volunteers. After the toast, stick around for a campfire with s’mores and ghost stories! No registration required.
The annual Triple Tree Fly-In has turned into a “can’t miss” event on everyone’s Fly-In Calendar. Aviators from across the globe anxiously await for the Fall to make the annual pilgrimage to our manicured 7,000-foot grass runway to experience one of the fastest-growing general aviation events in the country.
During our 2022 Fly-In, we had over 800 airplanes visit throughout the week from 43 states nationwide. During that week, the Triple Tree Aerodrome had over 1,700 aircraft movements and a record 804 movements on Saturday. These statistics made the Triple Tree Aerodrome one of the busiest airports in South Carolina (for that week).
NONE of this could happen without your support! Despite all the growth, we still hold true to our core values of Fun, Fellowship, and Hospitality. Please mark your calendars for September 18-24, 2023 for our 16th annual Triple Tree Fly-In. See you soon!

In 2017, voters approved a one percent sales tax that has funded a new Courthouse and more. In November, voters will decide whether the one percent sales tax is continued, with revenue going to road projects. Overall, Spartanburg County roadways earned a failing grade. The penny sales tax is the most cost-conscious way to fix roads and fix them quickly, especially with 34%-39% of the cost covered by non-residents. Learn more about the condition of our roads and a potential solution to fix them with Spartanburg County Administrator Cole Alverson, and hear the benefits of voting YES in November with OneSpartanburg, Inc. President/CEO Allen Smith.

Some of you may be wondering how you can benefit from conferences even if you weren’t able to attend DEF CON 31, BSides Las Vegas, or any local BSides. For starters, attend the October meeting where Overcast and probably a few others will share stories with only a hint of embellishment. He’ll also explore ways to have your own remote con experience if training or travel are limited. While attending the DEF CON 31 conference Overcast acquired Frog Badge #26 of 28. Cutting it kinda close there before they ran out. He’ll share how a random group of Frog Badge collectors reverse engineered its challenges.
Also, he brought back goodies to share with the DC864 crew.
SPEAKER BIO
Overcast is a co-founder of DEF CON 864 and one of its current leads. He loves exploring hacking and spending quality conversational time with family and friends. Occasionally those folks enjoy talking to him too.

The Upstate Pathfinders Volkssport Club is a not-for-profit club providing interesting walks available daily, at your pace, in many different Greenville locations. The Preserve is at 840 Mauldin Rd, Greenville. Our Conestee Preserve trail is NEW and shaded. After the efforts Gail L. did just to have the June walk, we have rerouted it using some newly marked trails as well as old ones. The October 7 walk features a 5K similar to previous routes and the 10k differs after leaving the 5K route. The walk passes thru the woods east of the Reedy River and circles back past East Lake and follows the river’s east bank back to the main trail. Then it continues to the overlook and crosses the Reedy again, the 10K splits and goes to the Conestee Dam before retracing to the white blaze trail. The 5K continues and passes along a creek before finishing. The 10k visits the “party” area then back on the green blaze dirt and yellow paved trail. Pets allowed on a leash. Note non paved trails/boardwalks are narrow.
Supporting the Preserve: We ask for a $3 donation to the not-for-profit Preserve by all attendees. This will further their efforts that have provided major changes in the last 18 months. You may also visit the Merch Store as we head to the finish.
Start Point: 840 Mauldin Rd, Greenville. Start in the pavilion area.
