THE POLAR EXPRESS™ with the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is back in 2022! The 1¼ hour round-trip passenger excursion comes to life as the train departs the Bryson City depot for a journey through the quiet wilderness for a special visit at the North Pole. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, guests on board will enjoy warm cocoa and a treat while listening and reading along with the magical story. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the North Pole to find Santa Claus waiting. Santa will board THE POLAR EXPRESS™, greeting each child and presenting them with a special gift as in the story, their own silver sleigh bell. Christmas carols will be sung as they return back to the Bryson City Depot.
Weather
We encourage guests to plan ahead and stay apprised of the latest weather developments. Cancellations of a POLAR EXPRESS departure because of inclement weather are very rare. If you’re staying in the Gatlinburg/Sevierville, Tennessee area, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service announces road closures and openings on Twitter, or call (865) 436-1200 extension 631 for a recorded message. In such case Highway 441 is closed through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Interstate 40 typically remains open. Use 45 Mitchell Street, Bryson City, North Carolina 28713 as your destination to find an alternate route.

Biltmore House glows with candlelight and firelight during this nighttime tour, changing the daytime visit’s mood and experience. Candlelight Christmas Evenings in Biltmore House allows guests to step back in time with an experience reminiscent of the Vanderbilt’s first Christmas spent in Biltmore House in 1895. Musicians stationed throughout the house perform seasonal favorites. Setting the scene is a 55-foot Norway spruce encircled by illuminated evergreens and shrubs sparkling in the center of the front lawn.

Join us at Fuddruckers in Spartanburg, SC for a unique “burger theater”
experience featuring Christmas Chronicles with Bill Cox and music by Mike
and Kim Blackwood. Through five dramatic monologues, Christmas Chronicles
tells the Christmas nativity story in a one-of-a-kind way that is humorous,
entertaining, encouraging, and inspiring.
Christmas Chronicles Burger Theater at Fuddruckers is ideal for a family
outing, a holiday date night, or a group celebration of Christmas. Consider
bringing your church group, Sunday school class, life group, youth group,
senior adult group, sports team, business associates, company employees, or
anyone who enjoys a good burger and an entertaining and meaningful
celebration of Christmas.
Seating is limited to about 100 per night and we expect nights to fill up,
so advance reservations are required through the Concoxions website to
assure that everyone gets a seat.
Beyond the cost of whatever you choose to order from Fuddruckers’ menu, we
decided not to sell tickets or charge for Christmas Chronicles Burger
Theater. Instead we are simply giving those who come an opportunity to make
an optional contribution to Concoxions. Concoxions is a nonprofit ministry
and anything given will go toward helping cover our costs for Christmas
Chronicles as well as helping to make our ongoing ministry possible. You
will have an opportunity to contribute when making reservations or can do
so that night if you’d like.
Doors to the private dining room will open at 5:30 pm. You can go through
the line to order and food will be brought to your table. The main portion
of Christmas Chronicles will begin at 6:30 and will conclude by 7:30.

Mischief is afoot in the sleepy village of Edmonton and the fate of the world is at stake in this smart modern fable. When the emotionally conflicted son of the local lord and an ambitious newcomer come into conflict, help presents itself to both of them in the same guise—as the Devil himself. But while these two young men take advantage of the Devil’s bargain to accomplish their own questionable ends, someone else in town stands her ground—Elizabeth, an outcast whom everyone believes to be a witch. |
Every year, The Salvation Army of Greenville provides Christmas gifts to more than 2,000 children through the Angel Tree Program. Thanks to our generous community, these Angels will have a merry Christmas! Angel Tree gives individuals and partnering corporations an opportunity to “Adopt” less fortunate children and provide them with personalized gifts and necessities. Because all Salvation Army Angels are not served by other holiday assistance programs, donors can be confident their gifts go directly, and without excessive overhead, to children who are truly in need. Angel Tree GREENVILLE, SC Adoptions are NOW OPEN!
