An opportunity to learn about Hawai’i and Living Aloha, the Way of the Heart through their ancient form of storytelling through movement – the Hawaiian Hula (not hooping)
It is also a form of healthy exercise for the mind and body that will:
-reinforce grace, vitality and mobility
-improve physical coordination and enhances memory and self-expression
-restore and reconnect you to your inner essence
With the holidays approaching, you will have the opportunity to learn a beautiful hula that tells the story of make a lei of love as a birthday gift for the Christ Child,

The Enka-Candler Fire Department and Paramount KIA of Asheville will lead Santa’s parade around the center to holiday tunes by the Enka High School Band, then officially light the 24-foot tree located in front of Forever 21. Music, crafts, balloon art and strolling magic will add to the evening’s festivities. The tree lighting ceremony is sponsored by SmartStop Self Storage.
Immediately following the tree lighting, Santa will be available for FREE photos (daily through Christmas Eve). FREE Santa photos are sponsored by Great Beginnings Great Smiles. The Santa set is sponsored by The North Carolina Arboretum Winter Lights and is in the Asheville Outlets food court.

Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, guests on board will enjoy warm cocoa and a treat while listening and reading along with the magical story. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the North Pole to find Santa Claus waiting. Santa will board THE POLAR EXPRESS, greeting each child and presenting them with a special gift as in the story, their own silver sleigh bell. Christmas carols will be sung as they return back to the Bryson City Depot.
THE POLAR EXPRESS begins November 9, 2018, and operates through December 31, 2018.
