Friends of Gallatin Miracle Park is partnering with Dream Catcher Balloon to bring an exciting ADA-compliant tethered hot air balloon experience to Gallatin! Tickets are just $5 per person (only one person is allowed in the hot air balloon at a time).
The event will span two days and include children’s activities and food trucks!

On National Public Lands Day, Saturday September 28, 2024, Friends of DuPont Forest will host the 6th annual DuPont Forest Festival, an event celebrating the adventure and beauty of DuPont State Recreational Forest.
The DuPont Forest Festival is a free, family friendly event open to the public. It is a celebration of the Forest and the diverse user groups who enjoy it.
We’ll have a mix of drop-in activities, demonstrations, group tours, and hikes, all perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Our number one goal for the Forest Festival is to teach people to love the Forest. Along with having fun, the activities will weave in education about reducing impacts to the Forest, waterfall safety, trails that serve multiple types of recreationalists and Forest conservation.
Each event will be led by an expert volunteer and representative from our partner organizations.”

Bon Secours Wellness Arena and the Greenville Police Department are teaming up with Greenville Humane Society and Greenville County Animal Care to fill police cruisers with items that will support the best care for pets under each organization’s care. Stop by the Arena on Wednesday, October 16th to drop off donations outside of the GSP International Airport Box Office.
Items needed include: laundry detergent, uncooked rice, hand soap, canned dog food, and canned pâté cat food

- On several days throughout the year, tours of the Sandburg Home are free! Advance reservations are not available for tour free days. Tickets will be available first come, first serve on the day of, from the Visitor Center/Park Store in the Sandburg Home.

Someone lit the black flame candle and the Sanderson Sisters are back and taking Haywood Mall’s Boo Bash by storm! Enjoy live performances and a special meet and greet with Winnie, Sarah, and Mary on Saturday, October 19th from 1PM – 3PM.
And the fun doesn’t stop there, wear your best costume and enter the Costume Contest. We will be giving prizes to those with the scariest, funniest, cutest, and best group/ family costumes.
Be prepared to leave with a bag full of candy after visiting our Trick Or Treat Trail throughout the mall!
