NC Arboretum Hiking Trails

Located within the wildly-popular and botanically beautiful Southern Appalachian Mountains, The North Carolina Arboretum offers more than 10 miles of hiking trails that connect to many other area attractions such as Lake Powhatan, the Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visitors of all ages and abilities can enjoy their hiking experience at the Arboretum as trail options include easy, moderate, and difficult challenge levels. All trails are dog-friendly and visitors are asked to adhere to the proper waste disposing procedures for pets.

GSP Transit Hub Study Release Event

The Upstate Mobility Alliance will release its GSP Transit Hub Feasibility Analysis on May 9 at 1:30PM at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (Conference Center – 1st Floor). The study’s final report will be released at this event, with copies available for attendees, as well as a presentation by the Upstate Mobility Alliance and the consulting team from Sam Schwartz on the report’s major takeaways. Light refreshments and networking will follow the presentation. The event is free, but registration is requested. Parking is available in any of the airport’s parking garages/lots.

Outdoor concerts bringing live music to downtown Greenville kick off this week.

Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive and Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays will return to NOMA Square for the 2024 season with a lineup of new and returning artists.

Downtown Alive starts Thursday, March 14 with performances by Linda Faye’s Sound. Benefiting the Metropolitan Arts Council, the weekly music series runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday until late August.

Widely known for his clean and relatable comedy for all age groups and for his Netflix specials “The Tennessee Kid”, “Greatest Average American” and “The Stand-ups”, his latest special “Hello, World” can be found on Amazon Prime Video. Currently touring and selling out shows all over the world with his new “The Be Funny” Tour, Nate is also an avid golfer and sports enthusiast – always supporting his local Vanderbilt Commodores.

When not on the road, Nate is also the creator and host of the weekly podcast “Nateland”, which can be found through AudioBoom, his Youtube channel or wherever you find your favorite podcasts.

Nate has over 10 appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, has performed for the troops in Kuwait and Iraq, with Chris Rock, and at Bonnaroo, SXSW, Oddball Comedy Festival, Sasquatch, Clusterfest, and the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival, where he’s received critical acclaim multiple years in a row.
