This year has certainly been an interesting one for most of us, full of changes and uncertainties, as well as new experiences and new ways of doing things.

Tarot Foundations – the First 22 meetings will regularly meet on ZOOM on every third WEDNESDAY of each month at 7:00 PM EST. This series of group work explores the foundation of Tarot based on the fundamental symbolism of the occult teachings that reveal the true nature of man, the universe and of their mutual relationship. A short list of questions will be sent out prior to the meeting. This series is meant to be fun, creative and interactive. Those who are in attendance will receive the Key that we will be discussing and will be able to download the Key at that time

On this Full Moon, I will guide us through a meditation to help us clear, balance and re-energize our Heart Chakra. Heart Chakra color can be green or pink, and governs our ability to give and receive love. I will also teach about Heart Coherence to aid in manifestation of our desires.
Crystals that support Heart Chakra energy are rose quartz, malachite, jade and aventurine.
Essential oils that support Heart Chakra energy are Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and Rose.
After the meditation, as we sit in silent reflection, gratitude and peace, I send Reiki Healing Energy to the group. After the session, I open the room to those whom desire to share their experience.

Dr. Bill Hoy, Clinical Professor of Medical Humanities at Baylor University, will speak at the two day event, which helps attendees understand how to cope with death and bereavement. Prior to his move to Baylor, Dr. Hoy directed the clinical counseling program (bereavement, social work, and pastoral care) for a large southern California hospice and community bereavement center. In addition to his graduate education in counseling, Bill holds the Fellow in Thanatology, the highest professional certification for advanced practice professionals in the field of death, dying, and bereavement.

Alan Johnson: Grew up in Denver, Colorado. PhD in Environmental Toxicology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Joined the faculty of Clemson University in 1999, where he teaches and conducts research on the science and policy of environmental conservation. He began regularly attending Quaker worship shortly after coming to South Carolina, and is now a member of Greenville Friends Meeting.
Don Swarthout: PhD in Psychology and Education, University of Michigan; 22 years working as a school psychologist in Charlotte; became a member of Friends Meeting of Austin in 2006; clerked the following committees: Worship and Ministry (10 years); Adult Religious Education (8 years) and presented more than ten forums on a variety of topics (most recently I was invited to teach a class on “Quaker Ethics”). I also spent six years serving on the Care and Counsel Committee, which was responsible for meeting the pastoral needs of our Quaker community.

This is a support group for anyone that believes in something bigger than themselves. I am pleased to have the opportunity to get to know you and help you on your journey. My goal as a spiritual coach and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Practitioner is to give you the tools so that you can go within and find the answers yourself, without having to rely on outside sources.
The topics of discussion will differ from week to week depending on the needs of the group. They can range from the weird and wacky to the seemingly simple things like getting through your day without falling off the ledge.
Unless someone has a specific topic or event they want/need to discuss, this week, our jumping off point will be focused on PERCEPTION. Our perception creates our reality. Is there something you perceive in your life that you would like to change? How does perception allow you to see the world differently than those around you? Is there really such a thing as positive and negative or is it all just the way you perceive things?
Please come with an open mind, and no judgement for others. Everyone is at their own level and on their own journey. We are here to support each other!
