The South Carolina Native Plant Society’s Fall Native Plant Sale offers over 4,000 native plants representing nearly 200 species October 9-11, 2025, with early access for members on October 8.
This online-only sale features shade-loving woodland species, sun-loving meadow plants, and everything needed for rain gardens and pollinator habitats — all requiring less water and maintenance while supporting local wildlife. Shop early as popular species sell out quickly.

Soteria CDC is celebrating the community and individuals we serve as we work to create economic and social justice for individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system by providing housing, education, employment, advocacy, and affirmation for previously incarcerated individuals. We are hosting a fundraiser and celebration on October 23rd, 2025 in recognition of our 26 years of service that will include a combination of storytelling, art, and music, as we unite the community around the importance of supporting and dignifying those reentering society.

The Art of Tamada: A Georgian Feast and Cultural Celebration in Greenville
Greenville, SC — First Things Foundation and Keipi Restaurant, with ticketing by Trueline, invite the community to experience The Art of Tamada, Greenville’s most unique culinary and cultural celebration, taking place October 24–25 at Hampton Station. This two-day fundraiser blends Georgian tradition, live music, and community connection, supporting First Things Foundation’s humanitarian work around the globe.
At the heart of the event is the Supra, a traditional Georgian feast led by a Tamada (toastmaster), who guides guests through stories, blessings, and toasts, turning the table into a space of meaning and connection. Guests will enjoy multi-course dinners, live performances, and the warmth of Georgian hospitality.

Hub City Disc Golf Club is excited again to host The Hub City Halloween Open in 2025 as a Pro only A tier event! Year 9 for the event! Local and visiting disc golf professionals will compete in 3 days of competition at Holston creek Park.
Everything Outdoor Fest is a two-day, family and dog friendly immersive experience in Upstate South Carolina. Our researched and proven program, provides girls and boys ages 5-18 the opportunity to progressively grow, learn and compete in golf tournaments. We also have optional Parent/Grandparent caddies on our tour. This provides tour players the opportunity to develop, grow and improve their parent/child relationship, while learning the role of caddies/players. Visiting on their first North American excursion, these twelve interactive troll sculptures will explore the Arboretum, embarking on a curious journey to learn about humankind.
Produced by Imagine in collaboration with Danish artist Thomas Dambo, these friendly and fanciful sculptures evoke a sense of wonder and intrigue as they study our small, intricate and inventive ways of life in Western North Carolina. Standing seven to nine feet tall and lovingly described by the artist as “Baby Trolls”, the creatures are crafted from materials like fallen branches, wooden pallets and twigs.
Through their observations, the trolls reveal a fresh perspective on what makes us human, sparking curiosity and laughter in visitors of all ages.
Only cost is the parking fee. No other admission fees.
