The Carolina Ballet Theatre, Greenville’s own Professional Ballet Company, invites you to experience Nightmare at the Museum, an electrifying performance like no other, where iconic villains from our favorite stories break free from their waxen prisons and take the stage by storm.
Through the mesmerizing choreography and the vibrant beats of classic rock and pop legends—think of the moonwalking grooves of Michael Jackson, the edgy riffs of Guns N’ Roses, and the anthemic choruses of Journey and other new surpises—you’ll be captivated by the dark and allure of these characters.
This isn’t just a show; it’s an immersive journey that promises to thrill and chill, diving deep into the shadows while celebrating the artistry of dance. It’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit, mixing spine-tingling performances with unforgettable music. On Saturday mornings from the beginning of May until the end of October, two blocks of downtown Greenville’s Main Street are transformed into a bustling farmers’ market. The market features over 75 vendors selling the season’s freshest produce and the area’s most original and high quality crafts. Each week thousands of people flock to the TD Saturday Market for locally-sourced products where all food must be grown or produced within 100 miles of Greenville and crafters are highly-encouraged to use locally-sourced supplies.
There is something undeniably special about Greenville’s TD Saturday Market. We invite you to join us Saturday mornings to experience it for yourself!
Go “door to door” with your little goblins to Trick or Treat at the Ballet Spartanburg studios. Enjoy a safe and silly (but definitely not scary) environment for celebrating Halloween. Costumes encouraged. Open to children up to 10-years-of-age. To Season Subscribers we offer no cost for this event.

This timeless tale of love and magic will be brought to life by the finest dancers of the Grand Kyiv Ballet. The graceful movements of the world’s best dancers from Ukraine, Italy, Spain, the USA and Japan will give you unforgettable emotions. And colorful costumes and decorations will transport audiences to a world of enchantment and wonder.
Grand Kyiv Ballet presents: The Snow Queen

Join the Grand Kyiv Ballet for the WORLD Premiere of the new Ballet, The Snow Queen. The Snow Queen is a powerful and cold-hearted ruler who travels the world with the snow, bringing winter wherever she goes. The tale tells the adventures of a young girl named Gerda and her quest to rescue her friend Kai from the clutches of the Snow Queen.
It is a classic fairytale ballet about love and friendship, and about how the warmth of a friend’s devoted heart removes the spell of the wicked Queen. A colorful journey full of dangers and obstacles, shown through the beauty and aesthetics of the ballet will bring festive delight to the stage this winter.
The performance is interpreted by Alexander Adbdukarimov and Arshak Galumyan, a successful choreographic duet. Former artists of the best European theaters now collaborating with them as choreographers, bearers of the traditional classical school and founders of the Berlin Ballet Company. Fabulous orchestral music combined with live effects, colorful pictures, and unique choreography will bring pure joy.

For over a decade, Lindsey Stirling has enchanted audiences across the globe by performing a certain spellbinding magic with her electronic violin, dreaming up an exquisitely composed yet boldly inventive sound entirely her own. On her new album Snow Waltz, the classically trained musician/songwriter/dancer/author finds herself fully in her element, sharing a selection of holiday classics and original songs that evoke intense emotion through her immersive arrangements and mesmerizing melodies. The follow-up to her debut holiday album Warmer in the Winter—a 2017 release whose hit single “Carol of the Bells” made history as the only instrumental song ever to reach the Top 10 at AC Radio—Snow Waltz emerges as a singular new entry in the holiday-music canon, once again proving Stirling’s extraordinary gift as an instrumental storyteller.
Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.

Last year, we made history by combining the Holiday Fair with Kringle Village, creating Greenville’s largest holiday event in partnership with the Rotary Club of Greenville. This year, we are excited to continue our relationship with Holiday Fair 2025, benefiting Rotary Club of Greenville.

The fun continues with the new Sunday Hours, there’s even more holiday magic to enjoy!
The Spartanburg community is invited to join us on December 4, 2025, at 7:30 PM to enjoy the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols in Twichell Auditorium. The prelude will begin at 7:30 PM with the program starting at 8:00 PM.
Festival of Lessons and Carols celebrates the Christmas season with traditional carols and hymns, along with student-led scripture readings. Spartanburg Master Chorale, Converse Wind Ensemble, and Converse Chorale will perform these beloved, traditional songs between the readings. The audience will be invited to sing along in many segments of the service.
In addition to the two Christmas trees on Twichell stage, luminaries will line the front campus for the evening’s glow. Luminary submissions that are received by Friday, November 7, 2025 will be recognized during The Festival of Lessons and Carols program.
Funds collected from the sale of luminaries will be contributed to the Student Benevolence Fund.
