Bon Secours Wellness Arena and the Greenville Police Department are teaming up with Greenville Humane Society and Greenville County Animal Care to fill police cruisers with items that will support the best care for pets under each organization’s care. Stop by the Arena on Wednesday, October 16th to drop off donations outside of the GSP International Airport Box Office.
Items needed include: laundry detergent, uncooked rice, hand soap, canned dog food, and canned pâté cat food
Join the community for a showing of the family friendly Christmas movie, Elf. Bring blankets and fuzzy slippers and enjoy popcorn, hot cocoa and visits from a local cast of holiday characters that bring the film to life.
Ben Greer is an author, poet, and educator who was born and raised in Glenn Springs. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and Hollins University. He published his first novel, Slammer, at 26 to rave reviews and went on to publish 4 others. His first book of poetry was published at 59. His latest book of poetry is called Naked Prince: New & Selected Poems.
Ben has also written three plays, including Little Tin Gods, produced by Theatre South in 2008. Having taught at the University of South Carolina for 33 years, he is retired and lives in Columbia.
Join us at the Old Stone Church on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 7:00pm to hear Ben’s stories and memories of growing up in Glenn Springs. This event is free and all are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Come to Holliday Brewing’s first Craft Fair, Farmer’s Market and Pet Adoption event on Saturday April 26th in Inman SC. Shop for candles, spices, local honey, gourmet pet treats, human treats, body care items, and other local artisan offerings. Spartanburg Humane Society with be there for a pet adoption event. When you’re done shopping, enjoy our pet friendly patio while listening to music and enjoying great food and drinks.
A summer market and adoption event celebrating pets, local makers, and community! Guests can enjoy doggie yoga on The Yard at 11:00 AM, explore 25+ local vendor booths, grab food and drinks, and meet adoptable dogs from Greenville County Animal Care, Canine Healing Project, and Dog Squad. Family-friendly activities and pet-focused products make this the perfect Sunday outing for both two- and four-legged attendees. It’s all happening at Hampton Station, a spot that loves bringing people (and pets!) together for fun, feel-good events.
Join us at the Greenville Convention Center on July 24-27th, 2025 for the Carolina Foothills Cluster Dog Show.The Greenville Kennel Club and The Piedmont Kennel Club will each be hosting two all-breed shows.
