The 52nd annual Holiday Fair will take place at the Greenville Convention Center December 1 – 3, offering the region’s largest selection of holiday arts, crafts and gifts in one place. Exhibitors include approximately 350 crafters and commercial vendors in this three-day, award-winning fair that gives shoppers a chance to support small businesses this holiday season.
The Blue Ridge Agility Club of Western North Carolina will host an American Kennel Club (AKC) agility trial Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 9 – 11. The event will be held at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Friday and 8:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday. Spectators are welcome to attend and admission is free. Please leave your dog comfortably at home.

The Upstate Race Series, Go-Green Events, and Brewery 85 present the annual Hair of the Dog 2 Mile Run! This race will start and finish at Brewery 85 and run an EXTREMELY fast 1 Mile section before looping around confluence center and heading back up to the finish for an ice cold beverage to ring in the new year and cure any resolution hangovers that many of us have!
What is the Hair of the Dog? “Hair of the dog”, short for “hair of the dog that bit you”, is a colloquial expression in the English language predominantly used to refer to alcohol that is consumed with the aim of lessening the effects of a hangover. Well here at our Hair of the Dog 2 mile race we are going to challenge those of you with a furry friend to a friendly and furry race. Maybe you drank too much last night or maybe your dog is hung over from all the leftover New Year tasty treats! Well come and shake it out and bring in the new year with all of our furry friends.

From Lake Hartwell through the Foothill Mountain Range. Locations that cover all of the State Park systems into the Streets of Anderson, Greenville, Travelers Rest, and Spartanburg. We have events that offer opportunity to every level of runner looking to take on their next challenge!

Packet Pickup: Will begin 1 hour prior to your race start time inside the event center inside the Brewery

Food: Meal Tickets for our Brew and Bite stand will be available during registration and in the Meal Ticket Registration Tab. These are PRE-ORDER ONLY! Burgers, Hotdogs, Chips, and a full array of condiments will be available

Hydration Station: is located inside the Brewery (no aid stations on course)

Race Day Registration: will be open until the race starts via phone or computer.

Overall Awards for overall will be given out at the conclusion of the event

Captain Harley Sefcik presents Margo, a Goldendoodle therapy dog. Learn how Margo was trained and how she serves the department and the community. K9 therapy dogs like Margo help officers engage with youth and interact with individuals who have special needs and those who have experienced trauma. Therapy dogs also make police officers more approachable and their presence more comforting during critical incidents.

Join our Off the Clock Friday at Fretwell! Each Friday, we’ll have a local
artist perform live music at our outdoor venue.
With delicious snacks and drinks (we now have beers on tap!), and lawn
games on our kid and dog-friendly green space, it’s fun for all ages!

Dog Safety Saturday
Join us for a PAW-some day at The Children’s Museum of the Upstate! From 10-noon, six pups will be stationed throughout every floor of the museum to educate guests on how to safely and respectfully interact with therapy dogs. This event is free for TCMU members. Advanced tickets recommended.
