Grandfather Mountain celebrates the birthdays of its resident animals with games, contests, crafts and surprises. The park’s habitat staff will prepare a fun-filled afternoon for guests, as well as programs to celebrate the park’s furry and feathered inhabitants. Included with admission
Iron Horse Steamers is hosting a community Fundraising Event. The proceeds will go to Izzie’s Pond Wildlife Rescue & Sanctuary in their work to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned and injured wildlife in Upstate, South Carolina. It is our goal to foster community support and awareness for wild animals in need and promote coexistence with our wild neighbors.
We’re asking all local businesses to participate. Local businesses can be vendors, donate raffle items or silent auction items, or donate a portion of the days sales to Izzie’s Pond for a city wide charity event. Izzie’s Pond is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. Contact us via email at [email protected] for more information about sponsorship opportunities.

I will be out for the month of June (knee surgery). The red basket (cards and dice) is at Craft and Barrel. Games are in the dart room and overflow can play at the table near the front door.

Summer on Augusta is June 16-19, 2022. This celebration is presented by Virginia Hayes, Realtor with Coldwell Banker Caine, and organized by the members of Augusta Road Business Association. Special events will take place along Augusta Street as local businesses celebrate Summer in the South with festivities, live music, block parties, Southern-themed events, a Car Show, and a shag contest, just to name a few. Area Of Effect Gaming Center
We are a new LAN Gaming Center to Greenville SC, and are looking to test our network and infrastructure upgrades before hosting tournaments and events for the community.
We welcome up to 15 members of our great Greenville Gaming Community to come game for a few hours, June 30th, 6:30-9:30PM. With our broad library of games, our selection can appeal to the casual and the competitive!
This Saturday it’s a comedy battle royale! In honor of Independence Day, a stage full of Alchemy players will compete to be named “King”!
This Saturday at 9pm improvisers will compete for points and your laughs. You may have seen some games like this on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, but here the points matter. It’s a head to head (to head to head to head to head to head to head) tournament where players are eliminated, dreams are made, and one is named comedy king for the country.
Alchemy Comedy Theater has Greenville’s only weekly improv comedy show. These energetic and completely improvised shows feature different local performers and special guests each week.
All shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30pm and 9:00pm in Greenville’s iconic Coffee Underground theater. Street parking is available as well as several nearby parking garages.

Join us for our monthly Game Night! We meet at The Cave on the last Monday of every month. We’ll be there from 6–9 p.m. playing all kinds of great board games. We’ll bring a giant stack from our collection (mostly hot new ones, a couple of classics, and usually a few prototypes or unreleased games). The Tantrum House crew will be teaching and playing all night and you’re more than welcome to bring games from your personal collection too!

Join us for VrockCon V, a one-day mini-convention featuring Pathfinder and Starfinder!
VrockCon originated in Flat Rock, NC, and has now moved south to Game Kastle right here in Taylors. A full day (Sat. July 30) featuring two scenario slots (noon and 5pm) is planned, plus we’ll offer one-hour Quests and Bounties available every two hours from noon until 8pm.
Other highlights:
- The Starfinder Society Interactive Special “#3-00 The Last Bite” in the evening. (An Interactive Special means multiple tables play through the scenario, and each table’s accomplishments contribute to the overall success of the adventure.)
- A drawing for prizes!
- VrockCon Dice!
Registration is $6 for the day, with a discount available for those who GM 1 or 2 sessions.
