When it comes to preventing and treating heart disease, you have more control than you might think.
While little can be done about the risk factors of age, gender and family history in preventing cardiovascular disease, there are many others you can control by adopting healthy lifestyle habits. The beauty of tackling the risk factors under your influence is that they are all interrelated. Begin by managing one risk factor and work to control them all.
Mitchell Devlin, DO with Medical Group of the Carolinas – Medical Affiliates – North Grove, will share what you need to know about the risks for cardiovascular disease and how to handle the ones influenced by your lifestyle.
In our 2nd meeting, we will discuss… Body Temple: Altars, Rituals and Transformation
- Your Body: How can we honor our bodies, love them more, and consecrate them as a safe, sacred space, a “container,” of healing and feeling? We’ll discuss how movement, self-care routines, yin yang balance, can help us soften into femininity of our bodies.
- Your Home: What changes can we make at home to inspire ritual, peace, and well-being? We’ll discuss Feng Shui, creating “breathing room”, altars, and how tools & trinkets can inspire a sacred practice in your homes.
Book of the month: Eckhart Tolle A New Earth; Thich Nhat Hanh
If you attended the 1st Circle, please be prepared to share your experience with your Ownership & Acceptance exercises :), If you wish.

We’ll meet in the space by the brewery behind the wine rack – to the right of the bar. It’s pretty private there.
