Finally, on Saturday November 30th after Thanksgiving, we’re excited that it’s Kid Hop time again! Kid Hop Hooray (our awesome indoor family dance party that happens monthly all winter long) is back. This event is for kids of all ages, with family-appropriate music from DJ Oso! Drop in anytime – it goes from 10am til 1pm. There will be FREE Glow accessories for little dancers while they last, plenty of room to run, dance, and get their sillies out while it’s cold outside, and snacks for purchase from Asheville Pizza Co and the Hop Ice Creamery, as well as popcorn and juice boxes! And of course, The Orange Peel bar will be open for mom and dad’s refreshments.
Padded area available for crawlers and new walkers to play and explore.

“Dancing with the Stars: Live!” tours North America this winter, celebrating the year 2020 in classic style with your favorite dancers from the hit ABC show. The all-new production continues its legacy of wowing live audiences performing fan-favorite routines from the TV series and new numbers choreographed just for the live audiences.
The show will feature the professional dancers in a brand-new production showcasing every type of dance style ranging from Tango to Foxtrot, Cha-Cha to Waltz – and everything in between. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience the excitement, glamour and glitz they see in the ballroom every Monday night live on stage in their hometown.

New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players is a professional repertory company giving vitality to the living legacy of Gilbert & Sullivan through performance and education. Now in its forty-fourth year of operation, New York Gilbert & Sullivan players (NYGASP) is America’s preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble. Under the dynamic leadership of artistic director Albert Bergeret, who has been hailed as “the leading custodian of the G&S classics” by New York Magazine, NYGASP has created its own special niche in the cultural mosaic of New York City and the nation. I’ve got a little twist, created and directed by David Auxier, won a 2010 Bistro Award, is currently touring throughout the country, and appeared at Lincoln Center’s 2011 Atrium Series. “Take Gilbert & Sullivan, add a twist of Broadway, and stir!” is twist’s recipe. Highlighting musical theatre’s roots in Gilbert & Sullivan, the show is entertaining for all ages.

With this belief in mind, Community Zumba is FREE and open to ALL in our community. Both members and non-members invited, so BRING A FRIEND!
Beginner’s workshop lesson at 7:30 P.M., then 8-11 P.M. Contra Dance with Country Waltzing at the break and the final dance. This is a partner dance but it’s not necessary to come with a partner. We have different live bands and callers.

This storybook ballet is based on the collection of short stories, written by Rudyard Kipling while drawing influence from many of the famed Jungle Book movies. However, the Jungle Book Ballet, much like many of the Carolina Ballet Theatre performances will contain a unique, Greenville twist.
Jungle Book Ballet will feature a unique storyline, centering on the life of Mowgli, a baby abandoned in the Jungles of India and discovered by Bagheera, the Panther. As Mowgli grows, he sets out on an adventure to the human village, acting as an ambassador for the animals. On his mission, he will encounter classic characters like Baloo the Bear and Kaa the Snake. But this unique retelling features the thematic tales of love and forgiveness. Mowgli encounters Shanti, a beautiful human girl, and his life will forever change.
Mowgli will face off with Shanti’s father and brother who set out to mine gems from a temple controlled by monkey’s, and will ultimately be called upon to save the jungle from fire and make peace between the animal kingdom and the human realm.

Your favorite Sesame Street friends are back in Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic! When magician extraordinaire Justin visits the neighborhood to put on a magic show, Elmo wants to join in. But there’s one problem: Elmo doesn’t know how to do magic, so he teams up with Justin, Abby, and friends to practice his trick while discovering the magical moments in everyday life!
