Come experience a unique, guided night hike that is fun for the whole family. Tales of the Trail is a non-scary, fall event that introduces you to woodland creatures and how they live. Groups will be led along a lighted, half-mile loop trail to meet costumed animal characters and receive fun giveaways. This festive event will also include music, crafts, a campfire with s’mores and other festival fun. This event does require advance registration.
Greenville County Fall Pickleball Smash
October 15 – October 17
This 2 day event is open to all adults who love the game of Pickleball. We will be offering 3 age divisions with multiple categories based on your player rating.
Ages: 18+
Schedule:
Friday, October 15: Mixed Doubles
Saturday, October 16: Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles
*Sunday, October 17: Make-up day in case of inclement weather.
Ratings: 2.5-3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+
Divisions: Ages 18+, Ages 50+, Ages 65+
Cost: $45 per person for one event, $55 per person for two events
Ball: Onix Pure 2 Outdoor ball for 2.5-3.0 and 3.5 divisions. Dura Fast 40 for 4.0 and 4.5+ divisions
Where: Northside Park (101 W. Darby Road, Greenville, SC 29605)

(1) Tournament Director reserves the right to combine divisions based on registration.

Cancellations/Refunds:
Individuals cancelling or dropping out before September 20, 2021 at 5:00pm will receive a refund, minus a $15 administrative fee. No refunds will be offered to individuals cancelling or dropping out after September 20, 2021 at 5:00pm.
Inclement Weather Policy:
Sunday, October 17, 2021 is the make-up date in the instance of inclement weather on Friday and/or Saturday. If games are cancelled due to inclement weather on Sunday, full refunds will be issued to those scheduled to play. Tournament organizers will make every effort to play all games in the safest manner possible. Please check your email and texts throughout the tournament for updates and inclement weather information. Refunds will not be issued to individuals who forfeit a rescheduled match.

The Hickory Nut Gorge has some of the most beautiful fall colors in WNC. From gold to red, the hues will pop as you hike along the trail. Join a naturalist and learn about native flora and fauna as you take in the sights. This hike is considered moderately strenuous. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
