Join us Saturday, March 16, in the Belton Recreation Department Gym (former Armory Building) from 8 am – 1 pm for the sixth annual Community-wide Craft and Rummage Sale.

“We are looking for all types of vendors,” said Alison Darby. “From people who want to sell their garage-sale type items to craft vendors and product line sellers, there is room for everyone.”

The gym should be able to accommodate 40 or more vendors. Spots are available for rent, $15 per 10 x 10 space.

Anyone interested can go by Belton Feed and Seed, the News Chronicle Office, City Hall or the Belton Depot in Belton or McCall’s Produce in Honea Path to pick up an application, or visit BAMA’s Facebook page at Belton Area Museum Association. Deadline for application will be March 12.

All booth fees will be split between the Belton Recreation Department and the Belton Area Museum Association to benefit youth programs. Vendors keep all profits.

“If past events are any indication, we expect a huge crowd that day,” stated organizer Alison Darby.

The 8th Annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash & Bash is set for Saturday, March 16th, 2019 in Downtown Greenville. This festive, family-friendly 5K walk/run with post-race event benefits Palmetto Children’s Charity’s four beneficiaries: Camp Spearhead, Compass of Carolina, Harvest Hope Upstate, and Pendleton Place for Children and Families.

Event details and schedule
Package pick-up will be Friday, March 15, 2019 10:00am-5:00pm at 313 Cafe in Seneca, SC.

Day of registration will begin Saturday morning at 6:30am at Shaver Recreation Department.

5k Race will begin at 8:00am and half marathon will begin at 8:15am.

There is a 4hr time limit on the half marathon and 5k race.

We will have Music after the race and a St. Patrick’s Day Party with Beer and light food from 313 Cafe

Our exclusive sponsor Upstate Medical Associates will be there with water once you finish.

What to Wear/Bring:
– Long pants/old sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty or wet
– Bring waders or boots if you have them
– Reusable water bottles, hats, bug spray, and sunscreen are highly recommended
Everything needed for the cleanup- such as trash grabbers, gloves, vests, trash bags, tools, etc. will be provided by FoRR!

This is a rain or shine event but in the event of a downpour, the reschedule date will be Saturday, March 23rd

*Volunteers who wish to work at sites off the Swamp Rabbit Trail/Cedar Lane Rd. should check in at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery (205 Cedar Lane Rd). As parking is limited at the Cafe, please park in the lower lot of Mount Calvary Baptist Church (115 Cedar Lane Rd).

The Gallery Morning Market (GMM) is a makers/artisan market within an Art Gallery on Saturday morning beginning in March 2019 in central downtown Greenville at Open Art Studios.
