International Ballet pre-professional company dancers and academy students will be joined by acclaimed principal guest artists for a magical production. Enjoy Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed live by the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and be dazzled as the angelic voices of the Greenville Youth Chorale are featured as snow falls on the Concert Hall stage.
Join Clara and her Nutcracker prince as they encounter dancing snowflakes, spirited sword fights and a visit to the Kingdom of Sweets. With glittering costumes and elaborate sets, this incredible performance is not to be missed.

It is Christmas Eve and Clara and her brother, Fritz, are excited for the evening’s celebrations to begin while the household prepares for their party guests. Family and friends arrive by train and admire the sights and sounds of Greenville’s beautiful Main Street as they make their way to the festivities. Clara’s mysterious Godfather, Herr Drosselmeyer, arrives and brings gifts to everyone’s delight. After patiently waiting. Clara’s special gift is finally revealed to be a very unique nutcracker. As the party continues, they all enjoy an evening of laughter and dancing. One of the maids gets a little too caught up in the merriment when an unexpected mishap occurs and sends Herr Drosselmeyer on a wondrous journey.
