The Simpsonville Farmers Market is an open-air market held on in-season Saturdays in the heart of downtown Simpsonville. Our vendors are local farmers and artisans, and unlike others in the area we plan and run our own market each year. We feature an array of products from the expected seasonal fruits and vegetables, to eggs and artisan cheeses, locally roasted coffee, eggs and meat, health and beauty care, and much more. What was a small affair in 2010 has now grown into a celebrated market known locally for its high quality and variety.
There is a lot to choose from, so make sure you bring your reusable shopping bags!

Innovation is a contact sport
On September 23, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, a dynamic group of thought leaders is meeting at the InnoVenture Futures Festival to explore creating the future for ourselves, our organizations, and our region.
It’s a Festival, so we’ll connect over inspiring presentations, delicious food, and great music. We’ll explore combining our passions with our professions in the Jazz of Sales, Excelling at an Olympic Level, and the Dance of Bioengineering. Big organizations will present their innovation priority needs which are business development and job opportunities for others.
A networking lunch and a long networking break with an interesting technology demonstration will provide time for great connections to make attending the Festival worthwhile. We’ll end the evening with live music and beverages on Noma Square outside the Hyatt.
We’ll help optimize your networking by distributing free to those registered to attend the inaugural Carolina Crescent Smart Manufacturing Report documenting the needs and capabilities of 50+ manufacturers, logistics organizations, technology providers, colleges and universities, and economic and workforce development agencies.
We’ll set the foundation for a multi-day 2024 Festival of Festivals on the Canvas of Greenville with multiple events by numerous organizations tapping into our global relationships to “Bring the World to the Carolina Crescent.”

Inspired by the classic comedy movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this hilarious slap-stick musical will feature the Lady of the Lake, a dancing ensemble of misfits, and the classic story of King Arthur – all told with a Monty Python musical twist!
Fireforge’s 2023 Oktoberfest Weekend is September 22-24! Wear your leiderhosen and dirndl, or don a tasty pretzel necklace – and be ready for stein hoisting and live polka throughout the weekend!

This weekly show brings you a fast-paced improv comedy tour through TV Land – complete with games, talk shows, and even commercials!
The Alchemy Comedy Theater is back and running shows every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night at 7:30 and 9pm. Downtown Greenville has street parking available as well as several nearby parking garages.

A festival to gather together as a community, celebrate the harvest season, celebrate our religious diversity, and for anyone just curious about what Paganism is.
There will be workshops, lectures, kids activities, drumming, music, and many vendor booths to shop at.
Our mission is to produce an event for the purpose of education, networking, and coming together in harmony. So, we can strive to dispel any erroneous misconceptions of Paganism.

We invite you to be a part of a no-holds-barred evening of “live” lip sync performances and fun to benefit the Charles Lea Center Foundation! Our inaugural Lip Sync Battle Spartanburg raised over $400,000 for our exciting Lake Blalock project (see below)! The second annual event will build on that success and be a night to remember – Spartanburg’s own version of the American reality competition. Local talent will wow you on stage with amazing performances. Teams from local businesses and organizations will bring their best costumes and moves, set to songs they select, as they battle it out in hopes of becoming the night’s champions! Lip Sync Battle Spartanburg brings the most entertaining and unforgettable fundraising experience to the ‘Burg!!
The funds raised by this event will be used for an exciting new project – the Charles Lea Center Nature Preserve at Lake Blalock. Recognizing the invaluable advantages access to outdoor experiences offers those we serve, the CLC plans to develop a nature preserve with specific features for those with disabilities. The center was recently gifted an eight-acre parcel of land at Lake Blalock in northern Spartanburg County that provides the perfect setting for the preserve. The proposed CLC Nature Preserve will provide fully accessible trails as well as an event center, picnic tables, shelters, a boat dock with adaptive features and more, so individuals of all ages and abilities can enjoy the great outdoors. This project will greatly enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities of all ages. Funding for this project, expected to be completed in 3-5 years, will be fully independent of CLC operating and capital funds.
