The Bellwether is THE place in Greenville to watch the 2024 Masters Tournament. On Masters Weekend, this elevated sports bar located next to Fluor Field will feature the iconic food of golf’s first major tournament of the year with Egg Salad, Pimento Cheese, and Pork Bar-B-Que sandwiches. Sip on a golf themed cocktail, like the Mastro Dobel Paloma, Titos Azalea, and Elijah Craig Old Fashioned. If you’re feeling inspired, you can practice on their patio putting green in the shadow of the Green Monster.
Join us for Empower Hour, a one-hour program and facility tour where you will experience firsthand the YWCA’s work to bridge gaps in earning power, education, health & wellness and access to childcare.
Empower Hours take place twice a month on the first and third Tuesday at 11:30 am.

While Downtown Greenville’s familiar culinary scene has some great BBQ options, this tour will take you outside of the city center to the places locals know and love. These are the types of joints with smoke stacks sticking out of the rooftops and white smoke billowing out of the chimneys–smoking the meats right on the premises.
The Greenville BBQ Trail tour is your opportunity to try back-to-back tastings of what are considered by many to be among the top BBQ spots in the city.

• A drive through old textile mill villages

Passengers will enjoy a full service All-Adult First Class ride in our First Class cars with a private attendant and plush, well-appointed dining seating. A narrator will accompany the ride to present each pour to guests and share knowledge and history of the wines selected. Passengers on this specialty car will enjoy an exclusive sampling of cheeses and a surf and turf meal prepared fresh. We have carefully selected our wine samples to accompany the meal. All passengers will receive a GSMR souvenir stemless wine glass, four samples of selected wine, and a dessert that’s perfect for the season! Chopped in the Burg is a fundraiser where local chefs compete to create a dish using locally sourced ingredients in a race against the clock. Our Seed to Table program, which teaches agricultural and nutrition education to Spartanburg youth from grades K-5, is supported by this fundraiser. We provide hands-on education at the school gardens we build and maintain to teach children about sustainable agriculture and empower them to make healthy food choices.

Join the South Carolina Wildlife Federation at Hotel Domestique’s Restaurant 17 in Travelers Rest near Greenville for a six-course conservation dinner featuring dishes inspired by imperiled bird species created by Chef Haydn Shaak, a 2022 South Carolina Chef Ambassador. This year’s featured species include the Eastern meadowlark, the little blue heron, the Eastern screech owl, the brown-headed nuthatch, the red-winged blackbird, and of course, the roseate spoonbill, whose conservation story inspired this dinner series. As each course is served, SCWF Industry Habitat Manager Jay Keck will share information about each species and the conservation efforts needed to help them thrive.

We’re gathering the local Spartanburg community to increase awareness around meningitis B, an uncommon but serious illness that took the life of a local high school football player, Keegan Johnson, four years ago.
While anyone can get meningitis, those 16 to 23 years of age are at increased risk.
The event will help to educate parents to talk to their teens doctor about how to help prevent meningitis.
Parents, bring your families along for an evening of education, remembrance, fun and food.
