Heather Taylor CD Release
Aug 3 @ 11:00 pm – Aug 4 @ 1:00 am
Isis Music Hall

Celebrating a spectrum of fiery and intimate originals, Taylor delivers her tunes with vocal passion and honesty. Lyrically driven and melodically moving, this Americana flavored sound is infused with the weaving ambiance of Sean Jerome’s soulful slide guitar riffs and uplifted by rhythmic octave mandolin. Created is a dynamic experience, drawing the listener in.

This CD release celebration will be one of a kind! Each song has a special handwritten poem with illustration, designed and illustrated by local herbalist, Andrea Hasselbacher. Each illustration is the herbal flower remedy to the song’s meaning and theme.

Artist Bio

Born into a musical family, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist, Heather Taylor is creative to her core. Classically trained in flute, the now singer/songwriter embraces the craggy soul of the Appalachian music scene in Asheville, NC. Shortly after settling into Asheville, Taylor won the Brown Bag Songwriting Competition and is recognized as an emerging singer-songwriter in the Western North Carolina music scene. Her
most recent record, “Undercurrents” was mixed at Echo Mountain Recording Studio by grammy award winning producer, Julian Dreyer and features slide guitarist, Sean Jerome.

Eric Krasno Band

For nearly two decades, Eric Krasno has been an omnipresent figure in popular music. We’ve heard his virtuosic, innovative guitar playing with Soulive and Lettuce (both of which he co-founded), seen him onstage supporting the likes of the Rolling Stones, Dave Mathews Band, John Mayer and The Roots, watched him take home multiple GRAMMY Awards, and benefited from his deft, behind-the-scenes work as a producer and songwriter for everyone from Norah Jones, Tedeschi Trucks, and 50 Cent to Talib Kweli, Aaron Neville, and Allen Stone. Krasno’s recent solo album, ‘Blood From A Stone,’ reveals a previously unknown and utterly compelling side of his artistry, though, inviting us to bear witness as he both literally and metaphorically finds his voice.
