Live the past! History comes alive in this week long camp. Join us at the Hunt Cabin and the survival skills needed in the19th Century. Learn how to build a cabin, cook on an open hearth, track animals, make period clothes and more! In this camp, children will be immersed in South Carolina’s history and learn about the people and cultures that make up the diversity of our state. This camp is for children aged 6-12 years old.
Drop off is from 8 – 9 a.m., camp begins at 9 a.m. sharp!
South Carolina 4-H is a community of young people across the state learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H is the youth development program of the Clemson University’s Cooperative Extension Service.
4-H2O is a hands-on science inquiry program focused on developing knowledge about local water resources. Camp activates include fishing, water sampling, canoeing, walks on the beach, meeting with experts, learning about drinking and waste water, and so much more.

This two-day, day camp, offered through Clemson Extension Livestock & 4-H in Florence and Williamsburg Counties, is designed to expose youth interested in a career in veterinary medicine to large animal and small animal medicine through hands-on labs and field trips.
When: July 25-26, 2018 | 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, daily
Who: Rising 7th – 12th graders
Registration Deadline: July 16 (or until full)
Cost: $75 Early Bird Special if registerd and paid by June 12. Cost increases to $100 for registrations received between June 13 and July 16.
During camp, students will gain hands on experience in things such as suturing, first aid, physical examinations, parasite identification, animal handling and more. They will also tour animal facilities throughout Florence and Williamsburg Counties. Students will network with professionals in veterinary medicine and animal industries about careers in animal and veterinary science.
Once you complete your registration, a camp packet will be e-mailed to you with detailed information.

Every Saturday in July the park stays open late, until 9:00 p.m., so you can make more time for family memories. Enjoy evening train and stage shows, rides at dusk, and fun throughout the park.
