The World-Famous Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their newly reimagined Spread Game tour The Well this Spring. The Spread Game Tour is a basketball event like no other. Ankle-breaking moves, jaw-dropping swag, and rim-rattling dunks are only some of the thrill you can expect from this fully modernized show. Part streetball from the players who defined it, part interactive family entertainment, the new tour will show off the best of the Globetrotters in a dazzling exhibition of talent and game.
The Spread Game Tour introduces new premium fan experiences with unprecedented access and interaction, including celebrity court passes, meet and greets with players, and in select markets, the #SQUADZONE, where fans have the opportunity to feel like part of the show.
For over 95 years, the Harlem Globetrotters organization has been committed to spreading joy through their artful athleticism and unparalleled basketball skill. The Globetrotters have always been global ambassadors of goodwill. The reimagined team is even more committed to bringing their voice to social justice conversations while inviting communities all over the U.S. to come together and recognize the power of our commonalities and celebrate our differences. Baseball Season is here! Let’s go to opening weekend and see the Greenville Drive. If more than 15 people sign up, we can get a group rate (TBA). When it gets closer to game day, we can coordinate buying tickets.

After ten years of partnering to save lives in the Greenville community, The Blood Connection – the community blood center – and The Greenville Drive are re-energizing their partnership to boost blood donations in the Upstate.
To celebrate ten years of saving lives in the Greenville community, TBC and the Greenville Drive have set a goal to collect 356 units of blood across six blood drives.
All donors will receive an exclusive Raglan baseball t-shirt, a clear bag, and two tickets to a future Greenville Drive game of their choice.
To make an appointment, prospective donors can go to thebloodconnection.org/Greenville-drive. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome.

2022 VS. UKRAINE
The U.S. Billie Jean King Cup team will return to Asheville, N.C. for the third time in five years in April with a spot in the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Finals at stake.
The USTA has selected Harrah’s Cherokee Center as host for the team’s qualifying tie against Ukraine, which is scheduled to be played from April 15-16. Team USA previously played at Harrah’s Cherokee Center — Asheville in 2018 and 2019, when the competition was called Fed Cup. The two events combined generated more than $8 million in economic impact for the region and spurred increases in tennis participation at the grassroots level.

Time for an April Ride! Hopefully the showers stay away and the mild Spring weather makes for a perfect day!
Meet at the Swamp Rabbit Café near the trailhead between 11am and 11:15. We’ll ride up to Traveler’s Rest and enjoy some early afternoon refreshments at Swamp Rabbit Brewery.
