We are Sharing Hope SC, Race for Life, is South Carolina’s premier race focused on furthering education and awareness of the critical need for organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. The 19th annual race takes place at Folly Beach, SC, on Saturday, April 20th, at 8:00 AM. The 10K will start promptly at 8:00 am and The 5K will start promptly at 8:15 am.

What is the Piedmont Farm Tour?   Each Earth Day weekend in late April, we partner with Weaver Street Market to open 30+ farms across the Piedmont of North Carolina to visitors for a weekend of farm fun!   Whether you’re looking to better understand where your food comes from, behold (and potentially cuddle) cute farm animals, or have an opportunity to get outside and breathe the fresh air, there’s something for everyone on the Piedmont Farm Tour.   To get an idea of what’s in store, see the list of 30 farms on the 2024 tour!   We’re looking for over 80 volunteers for this year’s farm tour! Join us for an evening paddle with park staff on scenic Lake Craig. During this 90-min. paddling trip we will watch the sun slowly set, and as dusk descends, we will see the first stars of the evening.
