The children spend their days doing fun-filled activities, taking field trips, participating in character building classes and much more. We need help funding the scholarship program to help offset the cost for families unable to afford this quality out-of-school time experience for their children.
- $80 pays for a child to attend one week of summer camp
- $160 pays for one child to attend one week of camp, all field trips, as well as covers their t-shirt cost

You and/or your company can host a meal for our wonderful VITA Volunteers. The meal can be homemade or catered through a restaurant. The VITA Program runs from the end of January to mid April. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings most are coming to Greer Relief straight from work, and on Saturday they spend the day here and lunch would be greatly appreciated. We have even more VITA Volunteers this year to reach our goal of helping to prepare 1000 tax returns! With a hefty number like that, a great meal will be the fuel needed to reach that goal. Join us April 12-13, 2024, for two days of family-friendly fun! We’ll have storytelling, workshops, a quilt display, and more. If you can’t attend the festival in person but don’t want to miss the fun, you can sign up for an “online viewing” ticket. Festival tickets are free for students and teachers, individuals with disabilities, and those with low income and are low-cost for all others. Discounts are available.

Tickets: Adults- $12, Children (3-17)- $10
Includes access to kite flying zones, balloon watching, live music, activities & vendors, tours of the Manor House, Kitchen Cabin and Rocky Springs Academy. Plus additional historic buildings, herb garden, family cemetery, nature trail and picnic pavilion.

Get ready to go around the world in a day, enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of multiple cultures at Greer City Park and Greer City Hall. The Greer Goes Global International Festival brings a sampling of the many cultures that make up the Greater Greer Community and Upstate South Carolina.
What: Mattress Firm and Greenville Animal Care are inviting you to a Kitten Shower to help kittens in need find their fur-ever homes. Come during “Shower Days” to indulge in some yummy treats, see the adoptable animals, meet a Mattress Firm Sleep Expert, and maybe even go home with your new fur-ever friend!
When: The Kitten Shower will take place April 19 – April 20 (noon to 4 PM). Shower donations will also be accepted at any Upstate, SC Mattress Firm location or Greenville Animal Care now through April 24.

Items Needed: Kitchen scales, terry bath towels (white), heating pads, pate-style kitten food, kitten milk replacer (powder), pet bottles and nipples, non-clumping cat litter, fleece throws, kitten toys.
