The 2024 Walk As One Event will begin and end at the YMCA located at 151 Ribault Street.
The annual Walk As One event is a time to gather and walk with someone you may not know as we explore Our City.
Tickets are on sale now for the HBCU MLK Day Unity Invitational, a four-day celebration of unity, community and collegiate basketball. Set to take place January 12-15, 2024, the event will commemorate the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while showcasing 14 basketball teams from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Collegiate team match ups include Claflin University, Clinton College, Fayetteville State University and Johnson C. Smith University, among others.
The tournament will also feature a highly anticipated high school basketball match up and step fest on Sunday January 14.
On Monday January 15, the community are invited to partake in a special MLK Day March to The Well Parade, which will begin at City Hall in downtown Greenville.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is next Monday, January 15 and is a perfect starting point to begin volunteering. We have a few delivery routes open in the following areas: Berea, Greenville, and Travelers Rest.

For MLK Day of Service, United Way will mobilize hundreds of volunteers across the community to honor Dr. King’s legacy by making MLK Day a day on, not a day off!
The commemoration of the MLK Day of Service is a call to act on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of social justice and equity. This day marks our opportunity to recommit as citizens by volunteering in service to others. This year, MLK Day will take place on Monday, January 15, 2024.

In honor of our daughters we are doing our 9th annual Valentine’s Daddy Daughter Date Night. We will have chocolate, candies, cookies and soft drinks and water. Cost is $3 per person non-refundable event fee plus cost of whatever pottery you choose to paint that night. We will have a picture taking area, call today and reserve your seat! Two events this year, February 9th and 23rd.

Bon Secours Wellness Arena is pleased to announce that we will host iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli February 15, 2024 as part of an eleven show tour hitting major cities across the U.S. and Canada. The show will honor Valentine’s Day and mark Bocelli’s first time performing in South Carolina. Greenville Symphony Orchestra will accompany Bocelli for the performance conducted by Maestro Steven Mercurio.
2024 officially marks 30 years of Andrea Bocelli’s iconic career as well as his 65th birthday. As one of the most recognizable voices in the entertainment industry and revered by fans internationally, Andrea Bocelli has sold 90 million records worldwide. In addition to his sold-out arena-sized concert events and record-breaking live-streams, Bocelli has shared his talents at many major events including the Olympic Games, the World Cup, and Global Citizen. The Blood Connection will set up a mobile unit at the WNC Nature Center parking lot on Saturday, February 24, from 10am – 3pm. Blood donors will get $40 in e-gift cards, plus a free guest pass to the Nature Center. As a bonus, the Friends of the WNC Nature Center will receive a $10 donation for each person who gives blood. We recommend signing up in advance.
