The Earl Scruggs Music Festival will be hosted at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC from Friday, September 1 through Sunday, September 3, 2023. There are three stages: The FLINT HILL Hill Stage presented by WLOS (main stage), The FOGGY MOUNTAIN Stage presented by Lakeside Mills, The LEGENDS WORKSHOP Stage presented by Gibson Gives. ESMF will include a family area with children’s activities. We are also offering our exclusive ESMF EXPERIENCES.
We encourage all patrons to bring their instruments and join us at the IBMA Jammin’ Area: Earl’s Pickin’ Pavilion. BYO Instrument! All instrument cases will be subject to search at the festival gate. Lets celebrate Scruggs the best way we know how!
The longest-running event at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena returns to celebrate 25 years of the Arena on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
Let’s Church!
This year the stage master himself Tye Tribbett returns along with the First Lady of Gospel Shirley Caesar who was part of the opening weekend of the arena. Choirs will get excited about the ministry of the choirmaster Ricky Dillard & New Generation as he comes to Spirit Fest for the first time! Also new at Spirit Fest are Pastor Mike Jr., Luther Barnes, The Mickens, Comedian Akintunde and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
Miracles, Signs, and Wonders will be manifested as we have church together! Plan to join us for this evening of worship and celebration!

The Simpsonville Farmers Market is an open-air market held on in-season Saturdays in the heart of downtown Simpsonville. Our vendors are local farmers and artisans, and unlike others in the area we plan and run our own market each year. We feature an array of products from the expected seasonal fruits and vegetables, to eggs and artisan cheeses, locally roasted coffee, eggs and meat, health and beauty care, and much more. What was a small affair in 2010 has now grown into a celebrated market known locally for its high quality and variety.
There is a lot to choose from, so make sure you bring your reusable shopping bags!
Come join us at the 20th Annual Fall Thunder in the Smokies Rally on September 8-10, 2023 in Maggie Valley, NC. 40+ Vendors, Live Music, Bike Games, Bike Show, Tour Ride of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more!

We will be learning about a variety of plants, both native and non-native, that can be used to relieve a number of everyday health concerns. We will also cover the basics of salve and tincture making! We welcome you to join us at this family friendly event. We are excited to offer savory platters, scrumptious pita sandwiches, and our always popular pastries along with a Greek band, dancing, church tours, and shopping. The event takes place Sept. 15-17, 2023, with opening hours of 11 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday. There will be a free shuttle, too! OPA!
