Go is an abstract strategy board game for two players, in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. It has very simple rules and is easy to learn, but challenging to master! The game originated in ancient China more than 2,500 years ago, and is one of the oldest board games played today.

Playing Go can help improve your focus, memory, and problem-solving skills, as well as your ability to anticipate and plan ahead.

The Greenville Scottish Games anchors Gallabrae, and embodies the finest of Scottish traditions brought to new levels of excellence.

The Greenville Scottish Games began in 2006, and from its inception has consistently taken an innovative, fresh approach to celebrating Scottish heritage. Greenville is nestled in arguably the highest concentration of Scots-Irish descent in the country. The legacy left to us resonates throughout the Upstate in our place names, our attitude toward family, our sense of humor, and our love of country.

Great Scot Parade – Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 6pm on Main Street in downtown Greenville.

Adult advance online ticket (age 13 and above) = $20

Child advance online ticket (age 5 to 12) = $10

Children under 5 get in free.

Free general parking. Gates open at 8:30am.

Tickets include Happy Hour/Celtic Jam Party after Games.

No pets allowed.

Please bring your own chairs.

No alcohol may be brought into the Games.

Active Duty Military get in free with their Military ID.

Veterans (with valid Veteran related ID) will get a $5 discount on admission for their ticket. This only applies to ticket sales made on Saturday, May 25th at the Games.
