Holiday Fair & Kringle Village will delight locals and draw visitors to the Upstate for three days of holiday fun December 5-7, 2024, at the Greenville Convention Center.
Greenville Convention Center will transform into a Winter Wonderland featuring a massive vendor market, roving performers, a European Bier Garden, the North Pole children’s play area, Santa’s Workshop, The Enchanted Tea Party, Little Miss Kringle Pageant, holiday movie night, snowball fights, main stage entertainment, the Grand Carousel, visits with Santa and more!

Join Miss South Carolina as we celebrate the joy and creativity of the season. Ages eight and under are invited to parade across the main stage in their most festive and charming costumes in three age divisions, Baby Miss Kringle (ages 0-23 months), Little Miss Kringle (ages 2-4), Miss Kringle (ages 5-8). All registered participants will receive a trophy and the winners will receive a tiara and sash.
Come live the enchantment of Christmas. Embrace the magic of storytelling, elves, old world wonders, and childhood made new. Established in May 2023, HauntFest has risen as a leading horror festival business, captivating audiences with its spine-chilling spectacles and atmosphere. From bewitching entertainment to macabre vendors and haunted attractions, HauntFest offers an unparalleled immersion into the realm of terror. Experience spooktacular live performances, encounter creatures both mythical and monstrous, and traverse unhallowed grounds where every corner hides a new fun and exciting horror. Introductory Chair Yoga workshop (no experience required!) Saturday April 12th, 1-4pm at Yogaunme Studio in Spartanburg, SC. (virtual option also) designed to help you feel better, reduce stress, and improve flexibility—no matter your lifestyle or physical ability! We need your help controlling invasive species at Anderson’s beloved Rocky River Nature Park!
About the park: This free and publicly accessible park is a 131.9-acre property that was protected in 2016 in partnership with Anderson University. Throughout the park, visitors enjoy a matrix of bottomland forest and beaver-maintained wetlands which hosts over 168 species of passerine and migratory birds throughout the year. A population of the rare Swamp Rabbit (Sylvilagus palustris) is also known to inhabit the floodplain forests of the park.
Workday activities: This year marks the second year of active habitat restoration at the park. The primary activity of this workday will involve removing invasive species such as invasive olive and Chinese Privet to enhance foraging and nesting areas for native wildlife and migratory species.
What to wear and bring: Participants should wear long pants, close-toed shoes and gear that you don’t mind getting dirty in. We will provide tools and gloves, but volunteers are more than welcome to bring their favorite gardening gloves, loppers or saws!
