The CROWD Academy
The Southern Coalition for Social Justice in partnership with SC Appleseed, and SC Counts is offering virtual training on redistricting, the mapping process, and tools citizens can use to organize their communities and engage in the redistricting process. The CROWD academy training model has been implemented in every state in the southeastern United States with the exception of South Carolina until now.
- Midlands Crowd Academy: Wed, March 17 through Fri, March 19 from 9:00am-12:00pm
- PeeDee Academy: Friday, March 19 from 5:30pm-8:30pm and Sat, March 20 through Sun, March 21 from 2:00pm-5:00pm
- Upstate: Monday, March 29 through Wednesday, March 31 from 12:00pm-3:00pm
- Lowcountry: Tuesday, April 27 through Thursday, April 29 from 9:00pm-12:00pm
- Statewide Training: Friday, May 14 from 5:30pm-8:30pm and Sat and Sun, May 15 and 16 from 2pm-5pm
