The Salvation Army Kroc Center is looking for donations of candy (no chocolate or peanut items), toys, youth experiences and more to make the annual Easter Egg Hunt a huge success for our community!
All of our guests are able to hunt for eggs, then head inside our facility to try it out for FREE.
Review the information below, and fill out your waiver to be ahead of the curve when you arrive.
Here is what you need to know!
Egg Hunt Ages | 1 – 12 years old
Event Schedule:
Easter Egg Hunt Check-In @ Kroc Soccer Field | 4:45PM to 5:10PM
**If inclement weather, Easter Egg Hunt and check-in will be held inside
Easter Egg Hunt | 5:15PM
**Egg baskets/bags will be provided for each youth but you’re welcome to bring your own!
Crafts and Open House | 5:00PM – 7:00PM (3 craft stations available for first 200 youth at each station)
– Includes open basketball gym, open swim, and more!
Just in case you missed it, this event is FREE!
However, it is required that all participants fill out a waiver (linked below) in order to participate in the egg hunt and enjoy the other activities.
Food will be available for purchase via food trucks that we have invited out for this event.
Our Spring Open House is FREE as well, so after you have gathered your eggs, head inside for some more family fun!

You and/or your company can host a meal for our wonderful VITA Volunteers. The meal can be homemade or catered through a restaurant. The VITA Program runs from the end of January to mid April. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings most are coming to Greer Relief straight from work, and on Saturday they spend the day here and lunch would be greatly appreciated. We have even more VITA Volunteers this year to reach our goal of helping to prepare 1000 tax returns! With a hefty number like that, a great meal will be the fuel needed to reach that goal. Derina Harvey leads the award-winning Celtic Rock group, the Derina Harvey Band (dHb). With a show that offers a fresh take on traditional folk songs as well as a few originals, Derina’s vibrant personality takes center stage with humor, storytelling, and, of course, her powerful vocals. dHb has been likened to a “rockier” version of Canada’s Great Big Sea, if fronted by Adele, and has earned a reputation as a high-energy live show that leaves many an audience out-of-breath and hollering from their seats!
dHb has covered a fair amount of Canada via the performing arts and festival circuits and is now poised to do the same in the United States. They were smash hits at four juried US showcases – Arts Northwest (Best in Showcase Award), Western Arts Alliance, Performing Arts Exchange, Ohio Arts Professionals Network – and following these, the band has quickly begun to make inroads from coast to coast in the US.
The group enjoys a huge wave of online followers from across the globe via TikTok, where there was a sea shanty craze that started in 2020. dHb’s recording of Tom Lewis’s “The Last Shanty” was used in thousands of videos on the platform, introducing the band to a whole new generation of listeners.

It’s your lucky day! With a prime location at the start of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Main Street in downtown Greenville, The Bellwether Public House is opening an hour early to ensure the best seats in the house from the wee morning ‘til late in the evening. There will be cocktail and food specials all day, live music with Melody Lane from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Slane® Whiskey t-shirts and other giveaways from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
