Anderson Go Club
Sep 18 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Empire Games

Go is also called “Baduk” or “Weiqi.” It’s a game with over 2,000 years of history. It’s a game that rewards creativity, intuition, and deep thinking. It is easy to learn (https://www.learn-go.net/), but difficult to master, offering a lifetime of intellectual stimulation and personal growth. Playing Go can help improve your focus, memory, and problem-solving skills, as well as your ability to anticipate and plan ahead.

Go is popular among anyone who likes strategy, mathematical concepts, game theory, or competition. Beginners are welcome! We meet up in two locations:

Greenville Go Club: Saturdays from 2 to 5 pm @ Hughes Main Library
Anderson Go Club: Mondays from 6 to 9 pm @ Empire Games

Pathfinder Society
Oct 7 @ 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Boardwalk

The Pathfinder tabletop roleplaying game puts you into the action as a brave adventurer facing the perils of the Age of Lost Omens!

Pathfinder Society of Upstate SC returns to Boardwalk on Sat. Oct. 7 from 1-6pm!

Sam will be your trail guide for PFS Intro: Year of Unfettered Exploration for levels 1-4. A new year of (out-of-game) Pathfinder Society has the (in-game) Society celebrating its victory against an old enemy, as well as refocusing on its core goals: Explore! Report! Cooperate! At a party, Envoy’s Alliance leader Fola Barun needs you to distract and entertain a friend while she prepares a surprise. You show him around the legendary Maze of the Open Road–but new adventures await as new doors to remote locales appear!

This scenario has the Metaplot, Envoy’s Alliance and Repeatable tags.

New players are welcome at all of our events–pregenerated characters and all other materials can be provided.

If you plan to attend, indicate so on this page. Additionally, please sign up on our Warhorn.net page to reserve a seat. Please plan to arrive about 10 min. prior to the start time so dice can get rolling promptly.

NOTE: The Warhorn session is the “official” registration system–if you are signed up there and show up on time, you are guaranteed a spot. Warhorn.net allows wait-listing in case a session is full.
