Join us for this popular painting class! Ashley will pre-sketch your pet on an 8×10 canvas & Jessica will teach you how to paint your pet.
No experience necessary. All painting supplies provided. $30 per painting. Paints can be messy, so dress appropriately.

At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”. Join the race and celebrate the 238th anniversary of this historic victory!
Start the year off with a bang at the 33rd Annual Race for the Grasshopper 5k!
The 5k race is on a fast, certified course (USATF certified SC07031BS ) on the road around the battlefield.
Spartanburg Running Club members are eligible for a $10 discount off the race entry fee!

The exhibit is located below the Grand Promenade. Please note, Rocky Cove Railroad will not operate in rainy or wet conditions.

The YWCA Racial Justice Workshop is open to our entire YWCA Asheville community – including our staff, volunteers, board, donors, program participants, Fitness Center and community members. This 90-minute workshop will take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am and will be facilitated by Gerry Leonard, Racial Justice & Outreach Specialist and Lexus Walker, Tzedek Social Justice Fellow.
