About PANDORA BOXX
Drag queen, actor, comedian, recording artist, writer Pandora Boxx is best known as a contestant on the smash hit RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 2 and All Stars S1). Despite not winning, Pandora proved to be the break-out star and was named by Entertainment Weekly as their ”America’s Next Drag Superstar.” EW.com said that hers was “the most controversial elimination of the season.” Fans voted her “Miss Congeniality” of the show, winning by “a landslide.” That popularity lead to becoming a drag professor on the spin-off show called RuPaul’s Drag U (Season 1 – 3) for which she was voted MVP by fans of the show. On exhibit Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 4 p.m., Rocky Cove Railroad is a G-Scale (garden scale) model train that demonstrates the coming of trains to western North Carolina at the turn of the 20th century. The students will be having a “Valentines Fundraiser Luncheon” at the church on February 10th after our morning service. The students will be serving those who come, baked spaghetti, salad, and bread. The cost of the luncheon will be a minimum donation of $10 per person, more if willing. Money will be collected at the FLC door as you come in for the event. Donations will be used to help sponsor our students summer camp at SummerSalt in June 2019.
We are in need of desserts. If anyone would be willing to help by providing a dessert please sign-up. All desserts can be dropped off in the FLC kitchen the morning of the event. On select Sundays we pull a limited supply of our beautiful green bottles for you to sip and savor while enjoying a guided talk from one of our brewers.
