Greenville BBQ Trail Tour
Jun 1 all-day
Various Locations Greenville SC

While Downtown Greenville’s familiar culinary scene has some great BBQ options, this tour will take you outside of the city center to the places locals know and love. These are the types of joints with smoke stacks sticking out of the rooftops and white smoke billowing out of the chimneys–smoking the meats right on the premises.

The Greenville BBQ Trail tour is your opportunity to try back-to-back tastings of what are considered by many to be among the top BBQ spots in the city.

Tours include:

• Insights into each restaurant’s cooking processes and techniques
• Information about each restaurant’s history and how they got started
• Interesting information about Greenville BBQ history
• A drive through old textile mill villages
• And, of course, a chance to try generous portions of smoked meats and delicious sides

Locations we visit:

• Bucky’s Bar-B-Q
• Henry’s Smokehouse
• Mike & Jeff’s BBQ

Sparkle City Rhythm + Ribs Festival

Barnet Park

Welcome to the Spartanburg Southside Lions Club! We are thrilled to announce the 6th Annual Sparkle City Rhythm & Ribs Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Barnet Park in Spartanburg, SC. Our aim is to provide you with one of the best musical entertainment experiences you can possibly have. We hope to make this year’s festival even more exciting than the previous ones, and we have you to thank for making our past events a success.

As a community service organization, we believe in giving back to the community. Proceeds from the event will be channeled back into the community through our various service projects. Our efforts include providing free eye exams and eye glasses to those in need, as well as supporting Backpack Buddies, a program aimed at combating hunger among children by providing food packs to take home on weekends. This year, we will also be making financial donations to The South Carolina School for the Blind, Miracle Hill Ministries, Upstate Stand Down for Veterans, and the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen.
