Volunteers – Help us welcome veterans and their families. Volunteers are needed round the clock and encourage anyone over the age of 18 to apply for a 4-hour volunteer shift. No experience and a training session will be offered.
The Wall That Heals, is a mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. The traveling exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War, and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. The Wall That Heals is a program of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, founders of The Wall.
It will visit 31 communities across the U.S. during 2023, and we are pleased that The Wall That Heals will be coming to Spartanburg County. We are excited that the exhibit will be here on Veterans Day, as more than 100 communities sought the opportunity to host The Wall That Heals, and we are the only South Carolina community it will visit on the 2023 tour. The Spartanburg County Veterans’ Affairs Office will host it, and we are excited to be leading Spartanburg’s The Wall That Heals Committee.
Please mark these dates on your calendar as all are invited to visit The Wall That Heals. Visit the other links for more information on the In Memory Program, escort, events and how you can support The Wall That Heals visit and to volunteer.

The longest running market in the Upstate.
Every Saturday, April-December @ 8am-12pm
On Saturday mornings from the beginning of May until the end of October, two blocks of downtown Greenville’s Main Street are transformed into a bustling farmers’ market. The market features over 75 vendors selling the season’s freshest produce and the area’s most original and high quality crafts. Each week thousands of people flock to the TD Saturday Market for locally-sourced products where all food must be grown or produced within 100 miles of Greenville and crafters are highly-encouraged to use locally-sourced supplies.
There is something undeniably special about Greenville’s TD Saturday Market. We invite you to join us Saturday mornings to experience it for yourself!
