Pleasant Ridge has 2 miles of newly constructed trails and needs your help to get them open. Please come out and lend a hand to get these additional trails open for everyone to enjoy!
What to Bring:
Gloves, Closed Toed Shoes, Pants, and a willingness to get Dirty. Your Bike, Don’t forget your Bike. These trails will need to be ridden in well to know the love and warmth of a bike tire.
What to expect:
Plan to spend an hour or two, spreading dirt and debris piles.

Classes in various divisions to showcase the versatility of the Arabian Horse including hunters over fences, dressage, english and western. Attendees will be able to visit the barns to meet exhibitors from all over the southeast.
The Camp Croft Half Marathon, one of the only trail half marathons in the upstate of South Carolina, takes place in beautiful Croft State Park. This challenging race will consist of almost entirely single track trails.
We hope you can join us this year for the race!
Proceeds from the race will benefit both the state park and Friends of Croft, an organization created to bring assistance and awareness to this jewel of Spartanburg County.

Spend two days with Jeff!
With so many owners struggling with their dogs, finally a no-nonsense way to communicate, train and connect with your dog for real results.
Even the most out of control dogs can be quite easily trained in a short period of time utilizing the correct tools, techniques, and philosophies. In this seminar, among many other skills, you will learn the unique Calm on Command training style that so many of Jeff’s clients love. Most bad behavior is caused by simple lack of structure, leadership and proper communication between dog and owner.
In this seminar, Jeff will utilize the triage model. No matter the issue or problem behavior, you are welcome to bring your dog to this seminar. Jeff will work tirelessly with you and your dog on both days focusing on your dog’s most important issues. Some behaviors will be resolved immediately, and Jeff will provide all participants with a personalized plan of action to work on at home.
Jeff breaks down to a very simple process of YES/NO, train what you want your dog to do and stop what you don’t want your dog to do. Find the motivation for both and you will accelerate you and your dog’s relationship.
In this seminar, Jeff will cover:
– his Original Calm on Command
– how to eliminate leash pulling within 5 minutes
– all obedience training commands
– understanding the fundamentals of separation anxiety how to eliminate it and how most folks create and make it worse without even knowing it.
– Sit/Down/Place/Heel/Recall
– learning the 5 Basic Commands with Distractions
– Jeff’s clicker-remote collar training to teach an awesome “Yes” and “No”
– what to do with aggressive behavior both dog and human, how to stop the rehab process and why it started in the first place.
– how to immediately stop problem behaviors
– behavior modification of dangerous behaviors, Fence Fighting, Counter Surfing, Eating Feces, Chasing cats and livestock, Getting into the trash, resource guarding and jumping on people as just a few examples.
– understanding your dog’s “state of mind” and how to get your dog to be Calm since “Calm Dogs don’t do stupid stuff”
– Jeff’s low-level remote collar training philosophy and techniques as well as how to responsible correct your dog with the remote
We will be doing a special dog/dog Socialization module at this seminar, learn how to properly socialize your dog.

The hope for the day is that all the participants receive practical tools to carry back to their own communities and feel inspired to go out to love the world.

In our second session we will talk about the body and create healing oils. We will discuss the link between economic justice and spiritual well-being.

1 p.m. Loving the World
In our third session we will talk about loving the world and cultivating a palate for justice. We will engage in a simple justice tea ceremony with moringa from Mexico blended with green tea from Africa. We will talk about moving past fear, cynicism, or numbness to engage the world in hope.
