Taking Flight: Arm Balances & Inversions
Sep 8 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
90 Degrees Yoga Anderson

You’ve seen “those” yoga postures – handstands, headstands, forearm balances, postures where the yogi seems to be “flying!” Well, now it’s your turn! Join us on Saturday, September 8, from 2-4pm, as we begin the journey of Taking Flight!

Master yogini, Phaedra Kennedy, will guide students toward understanding and practicing several arm balances and inversions, gaining better understanding of their personal abilities. Learning to open the shoulders, hamstrings, and hips while turning on the core is the key to carrying your own weight. These postures introduce weight-bearing elements to the yoga student and yoga teachers alike. A shift in weight can move the whole posture into alignment, and taking flight becomes easier in an instant!

Join us for this exciting workshop – Saturday, September 8th from 2 – 4pm.

Cost per person is $30. CEU’s available for yoga teachers.

Phaedra Kennedy has been practicing yoga for 30 years and teaching for 16 years. She is a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider with the Yoga Alliance.

Questions? Feel free to contact us at [email protected] or 864-328-3288. See you at the studio!
