We’ll read Mirabel’s Missing Valentinesand make valentine’s together. Registration is required, and it’s $5 per child. Come out and let us show you some love.

Come join us for Sunday Cat Yoga and let all stress of the week go! ALL levels and ALL bodies are welcome! Get ready for a relaxing practice surrounded by the resident cats at the Organic Cat Cafe – they may even join you for some poses! You can stay as long as you like afterwards and enjoy a free drink while cuddling our furry friends!

On select Sundays we pull a limited supply of our beautiful green bottles for you to sip and savor while enjoying a guided talk from one of our brewers. You can look forward to learning the special story behind each hand crafted ale, from inception to ingredients, brewing processes and aging methods, aromatics, tasting notes, packaging, and naming.

The February 10th session features Weatherman (2 batches over 2 years), False Face (2 batches over 2 years) and a special pre-release taste of our GABF Gold Medal winning C’Mon Sunshine. The afternoon also includes a tour of our barrel room, a straight-from-the-barrel tasting, and a Q&A session with owner and head brewer Shawn Johnson.

This miniature class will be all about basing! Adding texture and environment to your miniature bases to help them look more realistic. The John F. Green Spartanburg Science Center is open with a small admission fee. Eastwood stars as Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive. Easy enough, but, unbeknownst to Earl, he’s just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. He does well—so well, in fact, that his cargo increases exponentially, and Earl is assigned a handler. But he isn’t the only one keeping tabs on Earl; the mysterious new drug mule has also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. And even as his money problems become a thing of the past, Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on him, and it’s uncertain if he’ll have time to right those wrongs before law enforcement, or the cartel’s enforcers, catch up to him.

The Gallery at Flat Rock is excited to present an evening of songs and spoken word surrounding the day in 1964 when the 22-year-old Bob Dylan arrived unannounced and knocked on Carl Sandburg’s door at Connemara in Flat Rock.

The Gathering Dark (Josh Dunkin and Steven DuRose) will share an evening of “wild speculation” surrounding the impromptu meeting of the young poet and troubadour and the celebrated octogenarian poet and Lincoln biographer. The show will feature the songs and poems of both Dylan and Sandburg as well as the story of how their meeting fits into the context of American cultural history. “In the lexicon of American literary giants, Dylan and Sandburg tower above the flock. Why then is the story of their meeting oft-overlooked?” ask Dunkin and DuRose. Performing as Hendersonville-based group The Gathering Dark, the two promise to provide insight into the matter.
