This musical stage adaption of Charles Dickens’ well-beloved narrative, makes its spectacular debut on the Logos Theatre stage. The petulant Ebeneezer Scrooge, whose greed and selfishness have walled him off from everyone, must survive the foreboding visits of three ghosts who seek to remind him of the true meaning and purpose of life.

Come sing holiday songs with us!
Side by Side Singing is an opportunity to participate in community singing in a relaxed atmosphere. Those with short term memory loss, living with Parkinson’s Disease, and/or are interested in exploring song as a way to promote healthy aging are invited to participate. You need not read music nor be an experienced singer to participate fully. The repertoire will include well-known popular songs led by song leaders Ruthie Rosauer and Jan Mallindine on piano and guitar.

Join the Santa Cow for Dinner at Chick-fil-A Duncan! Fun for the whole family! Come take your picture with the Santa Cow, play some fun table games, and of course purchase a delicious Dinner! No holiday trip to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village is complete until you’ve immersed yourself in the night-time charms of the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge all lit up for the holidays. It takes hundreds of volunteer manhours to create the holiday look for the gardens on this historic bridge. Take in the beauty, the quiet serenity of the lake and the mountains, and enjoy this gorgeous work of art in motion all month long. It’s free, open to the public, and the perfect holiday activity either before or after dinner in the Gorge!

The Christmas House is Celebrating it’s 45yr of Decorating for our Community! We will have over 100,000 lights and displays to see this year. We are a drive-through event only. Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings – The Funny, Feel Good Holiday Musical
The Plaids are back to do their Christmas Special! At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren’t sure why they’ve returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites, like their riotous three-minute-and-eleven-second version of The Ed Sullivan Show – this time, featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, as well as a Plaid Caribbean Christmas that puts the “Day-O” in Excelsis! This truly “heaven-sent” holiday treat will lift audiences’ spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony.
