Based on the popular comic strip, Annie tells the extraordinary story of a little orphan who ends up in the lap of luxury with Depression-era billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Unlike most of the other children at the wicked Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, Annie believes that her parents will one day return to claim her. When Mr. Warbucks offers to adopt her, she asks the most powerful man in America to help find her real mom and dad instead, and he agrees. With scrappy orphans, sleazy con artists, a magical mansion staff, and an iconic American president, Broadway’s favorite underdog story comes to vibrant new life on The Market stage just in time for the holiday season!

Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings
Dec 13 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Mill Town Players

Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings – The Funny, Feel Good Holiday Musical

The Plaids are back to do their Christmas Special! At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren’t sure why they’ve returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites, like their riotous three-minute-and-eleven-second version of The Ed Sullivan Show – this time, featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, as well as a Plaid Caribbean Christmas that puts the “Day-O” in Excelsis! This truly “heaven-sent” holiday treat will lift audiences’ spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony.

Directed and choreographed by Kimberlee Ferreira with musical direction by Chase McAbee
