Andrew Kasab Live in the Taphouse
Apr 5 @ 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Triskelion Brewing Company

Andrew Kasab is an American guitarist, harp guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is known for combining traditional and contemporary techniques, energetic performances, arrangements of modern works for the guitar and harp guitar and occasionally plays harmonica and ukulele. He has been performing for over 30 years at music halls, events, festivals, restaurants and other venues, self released 11 albums of solo material, and plays multiple styles including folk, blues, country, bluegrass, jazz, American fingerstyle, American primitive and contemporary acoustic styles. Andrew Kasab is a Tonedevil Artist, endorsed by Tonedevil Harp Guitars.

“This guy’s a monster on the acoustic guitar.” (Annette Warner, A.Warner Entertainment!) Kasab demonstrates his work ethic at live performances, usually performing for multiple hours without stopping and can go from ambient melodies to lively pieces within a set. “His arrangements for the harp guitar are incredibly vibrant, with nimble plucks creating intricate patterns as savvy bass lines add gravity beneath limber melodies. When he reaches for a typical six-string guitar, his blues numbers are fiery and precise.” (Jordan Lawrence, Indy Week)

Kasab’s latest release, ”Fish”(2015), contains 24 tracks of original instrumental acoustic guitar and harp guitar works that showcase the expansive direction taken since the early 2000’s and is shown on previous albums such as “Guitar.Tune.Art” (2012). “Kasab uses the tonal diversity and range of the harp guitar with aplomb and artistry.”(James Filkins, Minor 7th) In 2010, Kasab became the first to arrange and record the monumental piano concerto “Pictures At An Exhibition” (Modest Mussorgski) for solo acoustic guitar.
