Join this community Town Hall to discuss the timely and critical issues related to climate change and how residents and visitors to Western North Carolina can build and enhance resiliency strategies to address these changes. Meeting at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center, the Town Hall will feature an address by noted climate scientist Allison Crimmins, director of the Fifth National Climate Assessment. A select panel of eminent scientists and researchers engaged in climate change research will be led by Deke Arndt, the director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA’s) National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).
