Residents are invited to an upcoming meeting to review and weigh in on the Wheelsports Park under development near the Greenville Downtown Airport and Swamp Rabbit Trail.

City staff, along with project consultants PORT, American Ramp Company, and Spohn Ranch Skateparks will showcase the most complete concept design for the Wheelsports Park to date. While the layout of the park was solidified through previous public comment, designers are seeking input on the three main amenities; a pump track, bike playground and skate park.

The drop-in style community meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Prisma Health Welcome Center in Unity Park. The meeting is the third opportunity for the public to see detailed renderings as well as the overall park design before the project moves to City Council for review.

Those interested in providing a more detailed response to the designs, or those who are unable to attend the in-person meeting, are encouraged to participate in the online survey set to open at 5 pm on Dec. 9 on the project webpage.
