The Washington Post recently named Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport one of the top 50 best airports in the United States. The Post surveyed travelers at more than 450 U.S. airports to compile the list.
Major criteria included ease of access, ease of navigation, food and shopping, on-time flights and “cool things,” meaning extra special touches that set an airport apart.
This is the second national recognition GSP has received in 2025. Earlier this year, the airport was again recognized as one of the best airports in North America.
GSP has become a crucial transportation hub for the Upstate region, offering more than 100 daily nonstop flights to major U.S. cities and serving as a key driver of economic development. The airport generates billions of dollars in economic impact and supports thousands of jobs in the aviation, tourism and logistics industries.
