Fireworks at Unity Park Set for Thursday, July 3rd

The City of Greenville is thrilled to welcome the community back to Unity Park to celebrate another wonderful year under the bright lights at Clemson MBA Fireworks at Unity Park!

The city invites the community to join in for this spectacular fireworks show in our beautiful 60-acre park on July 3 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Come early, bring a blanket and picnic dinner, and enjoy a memorable evening as we honor our great country.

Coming to the show? Here’s what you need to know:

  • Upstate of Mind – performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Military Appreciation and National Anthem at 7:30 p.m.
  • Fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m.
  • Eight food trucks, plus Pangaea Brewing Co. and The Commons will be open. Pepsi stations will be available throughout the park.
  • We suggest parking downtown and taking a short stroll (less than a mile) on the Swamp Rabbit Trail to Unity Park.
  • There will be road closures. Your GPS might try and take you a “faster” way, please be patient and follow directions from Greenville Police Department officers.
  • The trail will be closed 15-20 minutes after the fireworks finish to ensure the fallout zone is clear.

Why is the city hosting the event on July 3 instead of July 4? Officials gave it thoughtful consideration and determined that a regular work day and not a federal holiday is the most responsible management of city resources and operations. Plus, it gives staff and first responders a well-deserved chance to enjoy the July 4 weekend with their families.
