City of Greenville Announces New Community Center in Nicholtown

City of Greenville

The City of Greenville is happy to announce a new community center in Nicholtown!  Remodeling. Expansion. New facilities, programs, and services.

These are just a few of the things that will accompany the brand new Nicholtown Community Center in 2024.

Greenville City Councilmember Ken Gibson, SC Representative Chandra Dillard, and Mayor Knox White spoke about the historic Nicholtown neighborhood. The existing community center was built in 1977, and not much has changed over the past several decades.

After a 2022 feasibility study was conducted, residents shared their dream community center ideas, and thanks to Representative Dillard’s efforts for increased funding, the neighborhood’s vision for improvements will be brought to life in 2024.
