City of Greenville Publishes Updated Draft Development Code

After receiving public comment over the past seven weeks, the City of Greenville Planning Department has published an updated draft development code and zoning map.

Additionally, staff will begin holding “Learning Labs” meetings to allow residents the opportunity to learn how the new code will affect their property.

Valuable feedback was received from stakeholders across the city through an extensive series of public meetings, presentations to community and professional organizations, one-on-one conversations and emails. Many of those suggestions and requests were incorporated into the latest draft, with the changes marked so they are easily identifiable.

Any additional recommended changes will be identified in the staff report for the Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, March 30, at City Hall. Citizens who would like to speak during the public hearing portion of the Planning Commission meeting can sign up in advance at https://publicinput.com/y0738.
