The Alpha Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Greenville Technical College received a special commendation during the organization’s Carolinas Regional Convention for fulfilling all requirements to be named a “Four Star Chapter.”
Chapters are encouraged to reach for and progress to the Five Star Level. To do this, the group must reach milestones toward enhancing strategies to recognize eligible students, providing significant personal and professional development opportunities for members through Honors in Action, and building a working relationship with the college administration by becoming active on campus and in the community.
Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages scholarship, leadership and service among the students in the two-year colleges in America. The organization was founded in 1918.
