It was 20 degrees outside in January 2018 when the Carolina Music Museum gave Greenville a “sneak peek” into what we were about and for a good part of that magical evening Stephanie Schmidt, from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, played the Lyles Square Piano on the second floor. Now, almost a year later she returns for an evening of American popular music from the early part of the 19th Century, matching the music to the instrument, and giving us a glimpse into what we were whistling and singing together way back then. American history reflected in its music–a happy spoonful of music does help the history go down! Call 864-520-8807 for your tickets. $20 for adults, $5 for students 6-18. Beer and wine will be available.
